It's rare, but I managed to get into the live firing area for once... I believe this is a once-in-a-lifetime kinda happening and it's a good experience to actually view how a firing range look like... It's like stepping into the zoo or bird park or crocodile farm for the 1st time...
The excitement and awe just died off in abt 30 mins... The boredom sets in after I've been recording down the scores of the personnel who have to do those shooting exercises for the whole morning... I tried to derive joy from snickering @ those people who, out of 24 shots, could hardly hit the target for not more than 12 times... To think tt they're combat fit and are trained to hold those weapons!!!
Of course, the joy, like I've said, is short lived as this is a whole day event... Imagine seeing those repetitive actions over and over and over again for 170+ personnel... It's simply death by boredom... Bloody hell...
The off-in-lieu tt I'll be given is a mere consolation as thanks to tt firing range and it's filthy air, together with staying in camp the day before, my acne outbreak's back... It wasn't anything major, but still, it's so sickening to imagine tt all those $$$ have almost gone down the drain and I'm almost back to square 1... @ times I do think tt perhaps going for such treatment @ this time isn't really a good idea... I could always wait till [Dec] before doing all those facials... The improvement will be more profound... However, one must also consider the risk in doing so... The damae to my face could be permanent by then...
It's so freaking complicated... *Grumble*
Then there's the [AHM/SBR 2008] yesterday... I outdid myself by running 6 km!!! I didn't walk and I didn't think tt I'm capable of achieving such a feat...
I'm just thrilled tt I did so and even more excited now tt I managed to rent [Twilight]... Happy!!! *V-sign*
My inner voice seems suspiciously silent today... =P
