In case no one knows, I wasn't working today cause I'm on off today... Yippy!!! It's been a long time since I've actually had a long weekend and despite my dad taking a day off as well, I'm determined not to let tt affect me...
If I can't play [Cabal] due to his presence, then I shall do some reading... The 3rd book of [Stephenie Meyer]'s vamp love saga - [Eclipse] - is spell-binding... Even without me reading the 1st 2 books, it's still possible to get the whole pic, abeit fuzzy though... I'm not daunted by tt anyway... I'll simply rent the books from [Sans Bookshop] when I've the time...
([NLB] ought to have more copies of those books... Every single copy of [Twilight] is on loan or have been reserved... Damnation!!!)
I'm eager to read this book as the movie adaptation will be out in the [US] by year's end... So I wanna understand the plot before watching the movie in the cinemas and buy the DVD as well...

Met up with [SM] and as we purchased the tickets, I've stumbled upon a good bargain... If payment is made by [NETS], the movie tickets cost only a fantastic $6!!! The usual price on the weekday's $7.50, so imagine tt, $1.50 saved!!! I'm not sure if this is applicable to the weekend prices though...
(Damn those student price of $6.50 and senior citizen price of $4...)
We headed to [Woodlands Regional Library] after tt and of all times for my phone to ring, it just have to be when I'm in the library... I didn't expect this to happen as if there's a crisis @ work, the calls will come in before lunch... So I didn't bother switched it to silent mode as I reckoned tt no one will call me after noon...
Apparently, some regulars just have a bad habit of calling my phone w/o 1st trying the office line... It's not like I'm notorious of not being @ my desk or anything... Hence, imagine my embarassment when my incoming call ringtone blared out loud in the noise forbidden area...
(Whatever you've just used to defend yourself, you know tt they're all excuses... You should know better than to take such gambles... Admit it... You're lazy...)
I bought [Peppermint Mocha] from [SweetTalk] as my drink for the whole duration of the movie and it has indeed been a long time since I've actually tasted those bubble tea... It really brings back the memory when such drinks are all the rage...

Ahem, yes... We watched [The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor]... It turns out tt the critics are quite accurate in their ratings this time round... It's better to watch the movie when it's being broadcast on national TV...
(Not even worth buying the DVD??? Tt bad huh???)
The fighting scene b/w [Jet Li] and [Michelle Yeoh] was shorter than expected and I don't mean to be so critical, but I've a hard time understanding what the American actors are saying in Mandrin if not for the subtitles...
(Thank goodness this isn't some superbly famous blog... You'll get flamed to no end for this... Serious!!!)
Hmmm... I think I'll stop here for now... I'll leave the war b/w my mind with my raging hormones for another day, another entry...
