I've been overestimating my ability to be on time... Take today for instance... I was supposed to be @ [Ngee Ann Poly] - henceforth known as [NAP] for short - by 1300 hrs... Yet I decided to leave the house only @ 1145 hrs... I would be on time had I not missed [975] as I was walking towards the bus stop, resulting in a 15 mins wait for the next bus...
By the time I arrived @ [BPP], it was abt 1225 hrs and I simply have to grab something to eat as lunch before I continue on my next bus ride... So I decided to buy 2 bread from [BreadTalk]... Yes, tt shop doesn't exist in tt shopping centre for quite some time already, but I simply just forgot abt it... LOL... Imagine the shock tt I had when the realization hit me... Of course, I was rather proud with myself as I immediately switched track and headed to [Four Leaves] instead, all within a couple of seconds, as if this was already my Plan B... Haha...
[184] came within mins and I was initially glad because the anxiety hit full force when the bus's engine totally stalled when it arrived @ the stop [Opp Bt. Timah Plaza]!!! I'm like 'Masaka!!! This cannot be happening!!!' I kept my fingers crossed while the driver attempted to get the engine running... 3rd time's the charm and I arrived @ [NAP] @ 1300 hrs exactly... Phew!!!
Not to self: I'm so gonna leave the house 2 hrs in advance from now on... Being early is better than being late and leaving a bad impression...
The next hurdle came in the form of locating the badminton court tt's in the sch... Simple words describing the general direction just won't do... I need a visualization in order to navigate my way around... Therefore, I wasn't surprised when I attempted to follow the directions tt was SMS-ed to me and ended up walking in the wrong direction... Hmmm... Perhaps the next phone tt I'm getting should be installed with the GPS navigation system... LOL...
I had a great time playing some friendly matches with my colleagues' friends and the 90 mins just flew by so quickly... LOL... Apart from my 2 colleagues, I hardly know the other 5 ppl who were with us... It's a good experience though, to feel what it's like to socialize, not tt this really count as socialization in the normal human sense... Haha...
Guess tt's abt it then... Oh, I must thank [YH] for entertaining me despite her being busy with her stuff... Not tt she has any other choice as I was the one bugging her to keep me entertained as I made my way to [NAP]... Hmmm... Perhaps it's time I start making use of my MP3 player to keep me pre-occupied... Heke... =P
