Things have not been going well lately, as you can tell from the previous entry... Am I recovering??? The answer to tt question still eludes me...
With an extended weekend, I've plenty of time to spare, time to distract myself and let those wounds heal... Yet my dad has to take his leave on the same 2 days as me - no doubt to cash in on the long weekend as well - which left me with not many methods of distractions... Actually, save for going out, I've practically ran out of options already... I initially planned on gaming non-stop... Oh well...
And [Windows Media Player] not being able to stream the [98.7 FM] is not helping me in my irritation...
Nevertheless, I'm taking deep breathes to relax... To force those painful fantasies into the deepest recesses of my mind...
Let's start with [Wed]... It's only today tt I realised tt with effect from [1 Oct 08], the transport fares have gone up again... WTH?! Okay, so beginning there's shock... But thinking abt it now, 12 hrs after the realisation, it seems like I've accepted the reality of it... This isn't because I'm taking comfort tt the rebates have gone up to $0.40... More like I'm just behaving like those typical [Singaporeans]... Like what [Jack Neo] said in his film [Money No Enough 2]:
'Singaporeans just like to complain, KBKB, complain, KBKB... After tt, once we're tired, we'll just forget abt it...'
My facial is still a must, no matter how ex public transport is... The alternatives like taking a cab or owning a car is even worse... *Shivers*
Regardless, after my facial ended, I decided to do a random, impromptu move... To ask [YH] out for lunch... You don't have to be a psyhic to predict tt the outcome wasn't successful... Which is why I stand by my principles not to be random, but to have a plan for any day... Gah... The thought of not having a plan and being in limbo, wasting time thinking of a last min plan is just plain ghastly, terrifying, frightening...
Then there's yesterday... I went over to [NUS] to meet up with [XP] for a simple lunch @ the [Biz] canteen... I'm thrilled tt the food there is dirt cheap!!! $2.20 for a plate of [Chicken Rice]!!! $1.80 for a bowl of [Yong Tau Foo] which consist of 6 items + noodles... And if you order 8 items, it'll only be $2.00!!! OMG!!! It's so cheap, cheap, CHEAP!!!
I've also blacklisted the [FASS], so I'll be sure to avoid tt bunch of buildings 2 yrs later when a certain monstrosity enrol in there like tt area's filled with some biblical plague...
Hmmm... The depressing thing abt yesterday's visit is tt there aren't many good looking guys in sight... My initial thought was tt [Biz] has none... But then again, what if they've all migrated to the [Arts] canteen so ogle @ more beauties there??? This just means tt they're straight and out of bounds to me anyway... GAH!!!
My future in the relationship department seems bleak all of a sudden... Where can I find the guts and initiative to bring out my sun??? *Moans*
