Visited [San Bookshop] @ [VivoCity] today to get the 3rd book of the [Riley Jenson Guardian Series] novels... It's a little insane considering tt I'm living @ [CCK] and I'm going all the way there just for this 1 particular book...

Here's the more insane portion... I managed to borrow book 4 @ [West Mall]... Anyone with a rational mind will read this book 1st before going back to [West Mall] to try their luck again for book 3... But oh no, I'm not thinking rationally... I just have to stubbornly complete book 3 1st before moving on as the plot in book 3 is simply too exciting and I simply couldn't wait any longer to see the outcome of the plot...

So there you have it, I borrowed book 3... Mission accomplished...

I so didn't go back home just like this... I did walk around a little... And I realize tt window shopping and I cannot be friends... Because of all the walking abt, I couldn't help it but spent $9.90 @ [Ben & Jerry's]... Yes, I'm ocmplaining abt my inability to rein in my temptations... But not the ice-cream... To say tt it's yummy is an understatement... The sundae tt I ate was simply chocolatey... 2 scoops of ice-cream of your choice with 2 choices of fillings and tons of hot fudge... For chocolate lovers, this is absolutely heaven... Even for ppl with a hugh sweet tooth (like moi), this is good too... I chose some chocolate ice-cream tt's filled with fudge and brownie together with a mint ice-cream with choc chips in them... Imagine tt with the hot fudge... Good Lord, this is the ultimate sin...

Spent the whole afternoon @ [VivoCity] walking around... Visited [River Island] and the some of the article of clothing there are rather nice... The only damper is the out-of-this-world price tag tt're attached to all those nice clothes... Apart from the clothes looking, my other motive of stepping into tt shop is to revive some past memories of a certain someone who used to work there...

A classic example of the human nature to desire what one cannot have...

Lastly, I also did some ppl gazing, which is to be expected... As it's still the holiday period, there's lots of guys for me to ogle @, which is a little teasing as well cause I hate all this 'see, no touch' tt's been happening all too frequently of late...

Fret not!!! My rational mind (I know of a few who will scoff @ tt expression) is still in control over my emotions - and lust, though barely... Nonetheless, I enjoyed my one-man (do not confuse this with lonely... There's a diff, you know...) trip to [VivoCity]... Just wished tt a certain prince charming was with moi... *Dreams*

This is driving me mad...

National Treasure: Book Of Secrets... (Imported From Xanga)

For the 1st time in both my sis's and my life, we tried [SubWay]... Subtracting all those veggies, the sandwich still taste nice... LOL... For today, we tried ordered the tuna sandwich with extra bacon and cheese, together with honey mustard and mayo... Yummy...

Will I be back for more??? You betcha... Overtly, I'll be trying the other sandwiches tt're available... Minus all those veggies... >_<

I finally managed to catch the movie today with [Dad] and [Sis]... I initially wanted to watch it alone as usual due to the flexibility tt will be granted if I were to watch it by myself... For the last time, it won't be boring or lonely as I'll be watching the movie, not talking to my friends (in the event tt I'm with friends), hence there isn't really much diff...

In the meantime though, the gals in the gang are happily watching [Lust, Caution] despite them being underage... Gee...

I feel tt the movie pales in comparison with the 1st... There's not much action involved, not much race against time, there isn't any baddies in the movie which the good guys have to outsmart and the treasure isn't all tt fantastic... Though I concede tt the car chase is kinda intense... Otherwise, the movie is just so-so... For the benefit of those who don't have [FaceBook], I would give this movie 2.5 out of 5...

Before I end this entry, I would like to confess... I shouldn't have joined [YQ], [Cass], [JY] & [MJ] to share a cab... It's obvious tt it's impossible to squeeze all of us into a cab and it's a thanks to my inaction tt [YQ] and [Cass] have to take another cab while [JY] & [MJ] shared the cab with moi...

I shouldn't stood by and wait for them to come to this conclusion... I should've let the 4 take the cab together, which I believe, will allow them to be slightly happier... The cab fare for them will also be lesser as more ppl are sharing...

I should've just taken a cab home by myself instead of sharing... And I should've charged my cam before going for the [BBQ]...

Damn... I'm not going to listen to my instincts again...

Gang Outing!!! (Imported From Xanga)

I'm so totally delighted tt yesterday I got another chance to meet up with the gang once more!!! Okay, so it wasn't such a long time since we last met, which was like only 2 week ago... However, yesterday's different from the previous meet... This time, there's almost 100% attendance as poor [SH] couldn't make it due to family commitments, resulting in him missing out on a whole lot of stuff which I'll be elaborating later... Overtly, his presence is missed as well as in a sense, he is undisputably the noisiest in the gang and the one, combined with [Cass], who will make all of us laugh till cramps start to develop @ all sorts of places, particularly around the stomach region...

We had lunch @ [Swensens'] and good lord!!! The total bill was like $247+... Okay, it's not such a big deal as there're 13 of us eating and tt total amount also includes the b-day cake for the loving husband and wife pair whose b-days are like 2 days from 1 another... Hmmm... By now, I think there're like quite a few doubts runnign through your mind already cause the gang's original strength's 10... So how come there're like 5 more ppl (a certain PJC and AJC girl didn't eat)??? Well, [Bec] brought her sis and I brought mine... [YL] brought her bf, [DH] and so did [Dar] who brought his gf - [D] - along... [SH] was absent as mentioned, so yeah, there you go, the 15 ppl...

The total bill wasn't such a big deal until I tell you tt both [YL] and I decided to treat the gang by subsidising almost 50% of the total cost as a [X-mas] gift to the gang as well as a gift to the loving couple whose b-days we are celebrating... Because of this, I'm really, really broke... I'm not complaining as I've done this before when I decided to give a treat to whoever went to the [Zoo] outing... Yo peeps!!! Now tt you're working part-time, you should know what to do to the 2 seniors la, hor... *Grins*

[YH] will feel like slapping me once again...

Talking abt her, I seem to be giving a lot of gifts to her this year... 1st there's the [Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows] book, followed by the big pink [Hello Kitty] wallet and now this delicious meal with ice-cream and ice-cream cake... You might think there's something scandalous going on like what [MJ] was telling me over [MSN] the other day... And like what [YH] and I both announced during our short breaks b/w our bowling turns tt day, it's impossible for the 2 of us to be together... Gosh, both of us can't even imagine the 2 of us being together... It's totally wrong... *Shrudder*

Actually, I can hardly imagine myself being with anyone in the gang... Now tt's disgusting... With [YH]'s ex-sister-in-law (courtesy of [YH] herself)??? It's revolting...

I'd still remain single as like what [SH] said, 'if I were to go to a gay bar, all the guys there will become straight...' Ouch, I tell you... If I didn't know better, I would get offended by tt remark... And yes, to some extend, I'm offending by tt remark... However, I've learnt a long time ago to be immune to it and to lock it up... No, I can't shrug it off as tt comment is seared into my mind... But I can ignore the hurt...

Let's not dwell into it and move on... To the extended family members...

Actually, I don't have much to comment as I didn't really converse much with the 2 of them... However, if I were to comment, I would say tt I like [DH]... Hold the stones, claws, knives and nails!!! I don't mean it in any other way except tt I have no viloent objections towards [DL]... As for [D], I can't comment abt her because pardon me for saying this, but I don't find her pretty and/or attractive... For those who don't know me, now tt gotta hurt...

What can I say??? I'm bias...

[XP] recently helped me borrow the [No Human Involved] novel by [Kelley Armstong] and I'm too caught up in the storyline to really do some decent blogging... LOL... I'm resisting the urge to flip through and jump right in to the climax... I can't do tt... It'll spoil the suspense, the fun, the excitement, the adrenaline rush to read the book... To know what's on the next page...

Gee, I'm really weird huh??? But tt's just me...

Guess I shall end here for today... I'm off to do more reading... Not my novel... I've done enough reading for tt.. I'm off to [onemanga.com] to read my [Ouran] manga... Once I'm done with it, there's still [Tsubasa] and [Hana Kimi]...

Life Outside MMORPGs... (Imported From Xanga)

Amazing!!! The day after the gang outing, I met up with [XP]... It started with lunch @ [PastaMina]... I would say tt I should @ least start trying something new apart from my usual [Meatballs] or [Chicken/Beef Bolognaese] pastas... By trying something new, I don't mean trying different choices of pastas (like DUH!!!) as it's only their shape tt's changing... The taste's almost similar... LOL... I guess I shall try out their bake rice the next time I dine @ [Pastamina] again... I'm just praying tt it's not infested with tons of veggies... =D

Once we're done lunch, we did a quickie @ the gift shop as I find tt time's running out and I've yet to get down to business... Yet before I actually recount that, I must point out tt, [XP]!!! For goodness sake, please stop following [Yuling]'s footstep and count the money you own down to the nearest 1 cent (no offense intended)... You can scold me tt I don't know the worth of $$$ or whatever you want to associate me with, I just couldn't be bothered to be tt calculative... I guess this's something I picked up from [YS]... I do remember tt when we went out for meals, she would just round off the amt I owe her to make stuff easier... I would do likewise on the next meal we had together so whatever we owe one another will more or less be even out... Guess this is what the [Chinese] saying 'don't let money destroy friendships' meant, huh...

Back to the topic... @ [XP]'s I had a fantastic time... We started of playing [Burst-A-Move] and I curse myself for losing all the saved data tt contains the hidden characters... [XP] picked up the game real fast, though... I reckon tt in a couple more practice, I'll be trashed to bits by her... Hmmm... I should get back to tt game soon to make surett I haven't yet lose my touch... LOL... Next we tried [CTR] and boy was 'medium' difficulty tough... The fight for 1st position was really filled with adrenaline and believe me, you'll get hooked if you're the competitive sorts... We tried all kinds of map and we had a hard time beating both the CPU as well as one another to emerge tops...

Or maybe I could simply be growing old and losing my touch, a reason [YH] is all too delighted to agree on...

Next we tried [Chocobo Racing] and there wasn't much fun in there as I lost my data on the secret mapsm secret characters as well as custom racers... Boo!!! Moreover, [XP] find it more challenging as compared to [CTR]... Which I couldn't agree more as [CTR] is basically abt crashing as the name suggest... For [Chocobo Racing], it's all abt using magic and your own abilities to hinder the other racers to emerge tops... Moreover, winning [Chocobo Racing] depends on 2 factors... The type of racer as well as the ability you select... Choose either one of them wrongly, and you're as good as screwed... ^_^

The finale before we call it a day was on [Digimon Rumble Arena 2]... The mini games are fun and I couldn't wait to have a re-match with [XP]... This time, I'm determined to mow my way to victorym regaining my lost honour... Haha... Of course, the next time I play the game with [XP], I'll drag [Dar] along for multiplayer... Just imagine... A threesome!!! Tt will surely rock our worlds... LOL...

Yeah, I had fun @ [XP]'s... Wait, let me re-phrased tt... I had fun with the [PS2]... Now tt just sounds totally wrong... *sticks tounge out* =P

Just 2 days ago, while I was in camp doing my run, I think I saw one of my eye-candies from [PJC]... I couldn't be sure if tt person's really my eye-candy as I only saw his back profile and glimpses of his side profile as he ran pass me... It's really fustrating when you wanna confirm your thoughts but tt guy just keeps running further and further away from you... Darn it... I totally hate this kinda situations when you see some hunky person and the moment you decide to catch another glimpse of him, the hunky guy vanishes out of thin air... It's really irritating...

However, nth can be compared to the gawning fact tt I have a crush on a straight guy... *bang fists on desk*

It has only been a week since I've last blogged and yet I feel as though there're tons of stuff for me to type... There're a couple of events tt I would like to blog abt as week as some of my fantasies...

A blink of an eye and the year's coming to an end already... Unknowingly, I've been in service for slightly more than 11 mths and it feels as though I've jumped through time to get here... It's amazing tt I could actually survive 11 mths of work doing practically the same routine day in, day out... Gee, I'm really good @ this kinda desk bound job where not much brain cells needs to be killed... Ugh... My head's spinning from thinking of such witty sentence...

With 2007 coming to an end soon, I have to clear my leave and during the 1st 2 days of this week, I wasn't wotking... Which is great cause I managed to catch up on my [Fate/Stay Night] anime, do some [MS], [Audition] and [Facebook]... I have to do some anime watching so tt I can delete the animes from my hard disk... As well as to move on to the next anime on my list - [D. Greyman]... Moreover, with the release of 4th jobs in [MS] plus the lure of x2 exp, who can resist the urge to play and attempt to reach the 3rd job??? After all, I'm only a mere 14 lvs away from reaching 70... LOL... As for [Audition], I'm playing because I wanna doll up my avatar (a.k.a earn Den), practice more on [Beat Up] and [Cherography] so tt I won't embarass myself when I actually upgrade myself to the [Novice] lv... As for [Facebook], it's a social net-working site... 'Nuff said...

Tt's basically how I spend my 1st day of leave... I went to [Bugis] with my sis and cousin on the 2nd day and I have to admit... I'm good @ spending cash on food and only food... Lunch @ [Fish & Co] followed by a afternoon snack @ [TCC] cost a total of almost $100 in total for the trio... LOL... It's not really a big deal if you consider tt almost 40% of the amt spent was all GST, service charge and tax... Obviously, this is evidence tt I'm not very good @ shopping for clothes... And I totally blame my gender for it...Haha... If I was of the opposite sex, I wouldn't mind being spoilt for choice rather than just being restricted to shirt/T-shirts + pants/shorts + shoes/slippers + sling bags/backpacks...

Fast forward to today, [The Gang] finally has another outing again after such a long time of not seeing one another... Curses for not bringing my cam to snap away all those wonderful pics as memories... Though I seriously think tt I can do tt as my cam's memory would probably be full even before the early bird arrive as [SL] was there too... Haha... Despite his presence, he didn't join in the bowling despite him wanting to bowl very badly... Guess fatigue is one enemy he can't fight off... He participated in the movie marathon @ [PJC] the day before and I was amazed tt he even wanted to meet up with me this morning... Yet the moment we arrived @ [BB], he finally couldn't stand it and decided to leave... It's really retarded as well as a complete waste of transport fares... To think I was dumb enough to ignore my common sense and to be elated @ his short-lived special appearances...

The bowling wasn't tt much exciting as we could only play a max of 2 games due to the lanes being fully booked after 140 hrs... Which is a major bummer... I was hoping everyone could play @ least 3 games to do more bonding and communication... Instead, we spent the rest of the afternoon loitering around [West Mall] and I could be a little over sensitive, but I could feel the boredom seeping into the atmosphere by the time we entered [Food Junction] for some light dessert... I could only hope tt the upcoming mini outing on 15 Dec to watch [The Golden Compass] wouldn't yield the same result...

I feel like I've been reading way too much supernatural novels... If I were to choose to be either a werewolf or a vamp, I'd go for a vamp... And not your typical vamp tt's allergic to holy water, crosses, stakes and the sunlight... Rather, I'd like to have a blend of traits taken from the ideas of [Kelley Armstrong] and [Keri Arthur]... Immortality is a must and neither should I burn when I under sunlight nor die when I'm pierced by anything wooden... I shal also not dissolve when holy water is splash on me nor undergo an acid-base reaction when I eat garlic or see a cross... Oh, and don't forget regeneration... In addition, drinking blood is complusory too as tt's what defines a vamp... However, I do not need to rip out a person's throat to do so, hence the bite shall be harmless and the saliva shall have the blood-clotting ability... The weaknesses are tt I can only die if I get beheaded and I can't enter private property unless invited... LOL... My idea of a perfect vamp... ^_^

With regards to the previous entry, I reckon my 'time of the month' is finally over... LOL... I feel like hormones lv's back to the 'safe but still man-crazy' lv... Guess I should continue to distract myself by playing more [MS], [Audition], [RO] & [FFVII]... Haha~!!!

Today I met up with [YH], her bro and [Bec] for lunch @ [Sakura], down [Clementi Woods]... It's my 1st time going there to dine and thank goodness I wasn't eaten up by the [Clementi] estate... Managed to find the place w/o any trouble... I'm not going to claim any credit for this cause I'm extremely unfamiliar with tt area... Instead, I've to thank [YH] and her bro for directing us in the right direction despite them being a little unsre of the way itself... Bravo!!! LOL...

The meal was okay... I'm not good @ judging due to my selection of food... I do love the cakes, fruits and ice-cream (read: anything sweet, think: [Honey])... In addition, the pizza, satay and 'chick chop' are not bad as well... Yummy, yummy... The only think I don't really like are the sushis... They're not as tasty as those from [Suki Sushi]... I can compare as both are under the same management - [Suki Groups]...

In conclusion, it's a good place to have a meal with friends... It's btter than the other branch I went to @ [Science Centre] as there's a wider seletcion of food for you to choose from, including pizzas and pastas... Heke...

Obviously, the day didn't go so smoothly w/o any probs... The prob takes the form of [SL]... If he didn't reply my invitation to the meal today @ 0900 hrs (of all time to give a reply), I wouldn't have given him our meeting details and assumed tt he wouldn't be turning up... However, he had the nerve not to reply my query as to whether he will be turning up in my reply to his question... The ire went up a notch higher when he didn't pick up his call and could only be contacted via SMS, which is eating up a lot of time when I have to type my words and wait for his reply... So what if you're in a survey??? You could've easily picked up the phone (which he should considering the number of mised calls I've given him which can be inferred to as something urgent) and said the following which will only take up a max of 3 mins...

Me: 'Can you make it or not???'

Him: 'I won't be joining you as I'm in a middle of a survey... Reserve a place for me 1st..."

There, msg conveyed, end of story... I would've called him again to confirm if he could still make it as the lunch ends @ 1430 hrs... A simple 'no, I'm still held up in the survey,' follow by a SMS to apologise would have closed the case...

I'm feeling much better after this ranting... It's plain overt tt I won't be holding this grudge for long... Damn this one-sided crush... *Screams*

Oh well... I'll stop here for this entry... I shall now proceed to my [FaceBook]... Hear from me next week when I'll finally be able to meet up with the gang once again after such a long break...

I don't know whether to rejoice or to cry over the fact tt I'm finally growing up (do not confuse this as becoming old as I'm not old!!!)... I do have reasons for claiming tt long overdue fact...

I'm losing interest in gaming... This is one of the proof of me growing up... I don't really see adults playing a lot of games so I can fairly say tt this is one of the signs... However, this is debatable in itself as I could be having a short attention span, resulting in me flitting from [Maple] to [RO] to [FFVII] to [Audition] to [GB] and finding none interesting after mere 5 hrs of playing...

Hormones... Yes, the other issue which is proof of me aging, er, I mean growing up, is tt I have a feeling tt my hormones are like in overdrive, in a wrong way... Most hot-blooded guys turn their heads @ the sight of some pretty and hot girls... Yet what makes my head spin is the sight of good-looking, hot guys... Take today for instance... I was placing my order @ [PastaMaina] down [Lot 1] when all a sudden, I spotted a rather good-looking guy entering [PastaMaina] with his friend... My heart almost went into overdrive throughout my whole meal as I was sitting beside the duo... I also did get a glimpse of what information his jacket provided me with... He's a student of [PJC], probably in a sports CCA... I'm think bowling here as I have the feeling tt tt's one of the CCA tt'll provide its members with jackets... LOL... I should really get tt guy outta my mind and move on... Although I might add tt the temptation to ask for his number is almost overwhelming... *Ar-bish*

O-k-a-y... With the mere mention of bowling... I'm having a problem which is multiplying in magnitude by the second... I can't decide on when to hold the gang outing to [CSC] down [BB] for a few games of bowling (like duh)... I've picked out 3 dates - 24/11, 27/11 and 01/12... However, the gang's commitment are as follow...

24/11 - [SH], [Dar] has already made plans on tt day, [Yuling]'s studying for an exam...
27/11 - [Yuling] has plans with her friends, [YH]'s studying, [XP]'s working...
01/12 - [YH]'s involved in her relative's wedding preparations, [MJ] has plans with her friends, [Dar]'s busy as well...

So you see the plight I'm in now??? No matter which day I decide on, 3 ppl won't be able to make it... However, tt's the least of my problem... The main concern is which day should I pick so tt I can have the happiest lot... I think some divine assistance @ times like this would be really helpful... *_*

Candles, check... Summoning circle, check... Ligher, check... A human scarifice, uncheck... Yeah, yeah... It's lame... But tt's the basic perception of how a ritual goes right??? Oh course, I don't mean it in the literal sense, like duh... Rather, I'm referring to my need to blog every week... Perhaps it's to kill time, perhaps I just wanna share my thoughts with my friends, perhaps I just have to touch the computer and do some typing... Gosh, the last perhaps make it sounds like I'm suffering from some compiter addiction or something...

I was on duty yesterday and I caught a glimpse of [The Tyra Bank's Show]... I didn't catch the full segment of it, but the 1st few mins tt I watched was seriously worth pondering over... [Tyra] was talking abt how ppl judge one another based on 1st impression by doing an experiment on a bunch - 10 exactly - of middle sch kids... Basically, it goes like this... Each of the 10 kids are to pick from a range of jobs - whore, homeless person, theif, mayor, police officer, shop owner, etc - a job for one another based on 1st impression... I find it interesting cause the mentality of those [US] kids astound me... How they perceive tt all blacks are theives, how showing lots of skin makes you a whore and all... Which goes to say tt it's human nature to judge one another the moment you lay eyes on each other...

I confess tt I do judge ppl... A lot in fact... Of course, I still try to understand the person more to make sure tt my judgement isn't off tangent (which for the record, is always off tangent)... After all, the saying 'never judge a book by it's cover' is coined for a reason as no one in their right mind will say such things just for the sake of saying...

Please, don't be taken aback from my confession... I don't judge ppl tt terribly, like those in the [US] where showing skin makes you loose and being fat is a crime... Hey, fat (not obese) is good, as reported by an article in [Mind Your Body] 3 days ago tt being fat reduces the risk of certain cancer... Ha!!! Thin ppl, you better watch out... Better put on some fat to protect yourself... LOL...

Yes, the topic has abruptly been switched... So let's carry on with the change of subject... I watch [Next] yesterday night in camp (like I've said, in case you're not reading, I was on duty)... But I don't really want to count tt as watching the movie yet as 1, there's no subtitles for me to read and 2, I'm interrupted a couple of times in the movie... So I would like to watch it once more with subtitles so tt I can fully understand the movie... Not just what it's abt, but what was said and the meaning behind some of the exchange... Seriously, all those gives great insights to the movie so tt you can truly comprehend what the movie is abt... Despite all tt I've said though, the ending for this movie isn't very fantastic... The plot and climax are great... It's only the ending tt's crap...

Apart from tt, I also watched [Starship Troopers: Heros Of The Federation] when I came back from camp today... I was disappointed by the movie... Throughout the movie (apart from the ending), there wasn't a hint of sunlight, as though bugs will burn if they ever get in contact with the sun... *Roll eyes* Plus the lack of subtitles again totally hindered my ability to understand what those important conversations (mutterings, actually) are all abt... Zzz... And the concept's absurd, really... How bugs the size of normal-sized crabs (not tied-up) are capable of entering your mouth and taking control over your body is totally mind-boggling... Logically speaking, won't you like die the moment such big thing get stuffed down your throat??? Gee... Anyway, the only thing tt kept me watching the movie is the memory of the cartoon [Starship Troopers]... It's a cartoon of the ice-aged... Back when I was still in primary school... I can still recall how I like to role-play the dude in the cartoon who's the camera-man... LOL... I didn't role-play the macho leader, neither did I like the brave soldiers... Instead, I fell in love with the camera-man tt's totally defenseless save for some psyhic power which I think is telepathy... Ha, imagine reading what bugs are thinking abt... *Shivers* Maybe tt's why I hate bugs... Too much [Starchip Troopers]... -_-"'

O-k-a-y... Before I end this entry, here's a little something for you to laugh @...

The house...

She spent the 1st day packing her belongings into boxes, crates and suitcases... On the 2nd day, she had the movers come and collect her things... On the 3rd day, she sat down for the last time @ their beautiful dining room table by candlelight, put on some soft background music and feasted on a pound of shrimp, a jar of caviar and a bottle of Chardonnay...

When she had finished, she went into each and every room and deposited a few half-eaten shrimp shells dipped in caviar into the hollow of the curtain rods... She then cleaned up the kitchen and left...

When the husband returned with his new girlfriend, all was bliss for the 1st few days...

Then slowly, the house began to smell... They tried everything: Cleaning, mopping and airing the place out... Vents were checked for dead rodents and carpets were steamed cleaned... Air fresheners were hung everywhere... Exterminators were brought in to set off gas canisters, during which they had to move out for a few days and in the end they even paid to replace the expensive wool carpeting...

Nothing worked... Ppl stopped coming over to visit... Repairmen refused to work in the house... The maid quit...

Finally, they could not take the stench any longer and decided to move... A month later, even though they had cut their price in half, they could not find a buyer for their stinky house... Word got out and eventually, even the local realtors refused to return their calls... Finally, they had to borrow a huge sum of money from the bank to purchase a new place...

The ex-wife called the man and asked how things were going... He told her the saga of the rotting house... She listened politely and said tt she missed her old home terribly, and would be willing to reduce her divorce settlement in exchange for getting the house back... Assuming tt his ex-wife had no idea how bad the smell was, he agreed on a price tt was abt 1/10 of what the house was worth, but only if she were to sign the papers tt very day... She agreed and within the hour, his lawyers delivered the paperworks...

A week later, the man and his girlfriend stood smiling as they watched the moving company pack everything to take to their new home...

StarDust And The Gay Debate... (Imported From Xanga)

[Thursday] (tt's 3 days ago, right???), I started on my 2 days leave... Now I can say tt I'm more or less contented... Afterall, I've finally had what I desired - to be @ home and to use the com w/o any parental interference... Though I have to admit - and I would really like to deny this fact, I'm not what I used to be anymore... I seems to have lost the ability to game for 12 hrs in a day... A mere 5 hrs is all I can take now, from the experience I've had on both [Fri] and [Thurs]... To [YH], yes... I'm admitting this now... I'm old... There, are you satisfied??? =P

On [Thurs], after the 5 hrs of gaming, I decided to watch a movie... I watched it alone - it's no biggie, really - since it's an impromtu decision @ [CauseWay Pt]... True to the reviews, [StarDust] is an awesome movie... The romance was sweet and like all fairy tales, the ending was one of those typical they-lived-happily-ever-after... Tt wasn't impt... What's crucial was the plots... Yes, there're 3 plots centered on the falling star unravelling simultenously throughout the movie and kudos to the director for linking them up perfectly, like pieces from a jig-saw puzzle a fitting nicely to form a complete picture... A must watch and a must add to your DVD collection.. Heke... ^_^

Off to the next topic...In yesterday's [Review] in [The Straits Times], there's another article with regards to the gay debate tt concluded not too long ago... The article accounted tt in the past, homosexuality was not frowned upon in the past, even in - I'm not kidding here - ancient [China]... I was surprised by the revealation tt homosexuality was practiced during tt time, in the palace, no less!!! In addition, the article also explained tt then, homosexuality wasn't a taboo or sin or whatever evil as their religions have no such thing... It's only when the [Brits] took over [SEA], and with it came [Christanity], tt homosexuality became a sin...

Therefore, together with today's article in the [LifeStyle] section, despite the 2 distinct sides arguing over this gay issue a couple of weeks back, the majority of [Singaporeans] acutally don't really give a damn abt a person's sexuality since majority are not [Christians]... Yes, we don't like homosexuals, but we don't hate them to the point tt they have to be burnt @ the stake, like tt of the [Salem] witch hunt... In a sense, it's like what [YH] says: 'I don't mind being around gays... So long as there's no PDA (Public Display of Affection)...' Now tt's some insight for me, who's having some serious issues with my own sexuality...

Before I conclude this entry, yesterday I went to [Novena Square]... I had dinner @ [Mingles] and I would recommend this cafe for a package of a meal and a nice long chat... It's a unique cafe as it's a cafe tt specialises in sausages... Almost every dish has sausages in them... Not your ordinary canned type, thank you very much, but those big, 8" sausages tt are sinply juicy and yummy... If I didn't remember wrongly, there're like 12 different types of sausages for you to choose from... Totally yummy, save for the wafer ice-cream... This, I would advice you not to buy it as I don't think it's worth it due to the samll wafer served... The pic is not availably as @ blog time as the pic's stored in my sis's HP... No camera HP, remember??? Zzz...

Last but not least, the other selling pt of [Mingles]??? There's a ice-cream buffet from 1500 hrs - 1800 hrs for $11.90 + for adults... 16 types of ice-cream for you to choose from + wafers + coffee or tea... Now this is a buffet I would eagerly try in the near future... *Grins* =D

Yes, once again, it's another weekend and I didn't lock myself in the house to rot... Rather, I decided to participate in some indoor sports - bowling...

You can do it solo, like some of the ppl present @ the bowling alley @ [Bukit Batok Civil Service Club]... Those are the pros who are there to probably do some training and to kill some time... For ppl like me though, where's the fun in tt by playing solo??? There's [SL], [MJ], [YH] and [HY] together with me and we had a good 3 hrs playing a total of 3 games... Our scores, with the exception of [SL], aren't tt fantastic, which isn't really a point as our aim is to have fun... Yes... We shouldn't be too concerned with winning or losing... What matters is the playing process, the rolling into the gutters, the lesson learnt from it and to do better @ the next throw, the striking or spading (either by skill or luck)... Plus, the keyword is to have F-U-N... [SL] left after our 3rd game as he has something on, so we continued on on our 4th game w/o him... Surprising, the girls seemed to be able to perform better w/o his presence... Hmmm... I wonder why...

Oh, in case anyone's wondering, the total cost of all tt 4 games plus the rental of bowling shoes cost only $12.60... I'd say tt it's not expensive... After all, we spent almost like 3 hrs bowling and it's during a weekend and peak hours... Otherwise, the rate would definitely be cheaper... LOL... After the 'A's, [The Gang] ought to give a shot @ bowling... Never mind if you don't know how to bowl... If [MJ] could do it, so can you!!! =D

Most ppl have the luxury of plonking themselves in front of their com, in their comfy chair to blog... To the invisible muses giving us inspirations, I would think tt this's better for them as well... @ least they're also comfortable. I'm not denied of such comforts, mind you... However, as I'm penning this entry in pen & paper (yes, I'm moving backwards in time) in camp - I, @ this point in time, do not have anything better to do (it's like 1545 hrs on a Sat) - I envy those who are not working today. I'm officially deprived of any connections to the outside world - no internet, no MMORPGs, no Audition, no Facebook - and this is how I'm keeping myself busy apart from my X-Men 3 novel and some trashy TV shows tt are of no interest to me...

Before anyone jumps to the conclusion tt I'm finally coming out of the closet, I'm going to preempt tt by saying tt 's not true... I'm still pretty much in conflict with it, don't ask me why... Rather, I've finally found sufficient evidence to rebuff the age old myth tt if you proclaim tt you're gay in this organisation of mine, you'll be excused this liability tt's tagged to any fetus with the XY chromosome...

Yes!!! You still have to serve your 2 yrs even though you're gay... Although you'll be posted to a camp tt doesn't require any staying-in (God forbid the consequences), the roles, responsibilities and conduct required of you remains pretty much the same... Moreover, even if you declare tt you're gay during enlistment, the determining process is very, very troublesome and long - and this is an understatement... The bottom-line??? There's no point in bluffing through your sexual orientation... This 2 faithful yrs is set in stone for guys...

Guess there's always a logical explanation to why such a myth exist... Think abt it... How can gays be allowed when like 90% of the employees are like guys??? Hence, it's only reasonable to think and assume tt gays are exempted from the army, least they attempt some indecent acts to their buddies under the influence of overwhelming desires, say, whenever a guy bends down in a bathroom to pick up a bar of soap, perhaps??? You're right... I've finally given in to peer pressure and sign up for this online networking webby... To see what's the buzz's all abt... Turns out tt I'm beginning to get addicted to [FaceBook]... There're like tons of applications available for you to add and beautiful your profile page, thus upping the 'interesting' factor... Then there's all those gifts applications designed to keep you in touch with your friends by allowing you to send all sort of virtual gifts to your buds - ice-cream, pizzas, candies, hatching gifts and growing gifts, etc... This gifts thingy, together with the [SuperPoke] application - which allows you to do almost all kinds of actions to your friends - is highly addictive...

In addition, the [News Feed] provides all the updates of all your friends on what they did whenever they log into [FaceBook], allowing you constantly be in touch with your friends, knowing what they've been up to and all... No wonder companies are complaining abt their employees using office hours to visit [FaceBook] to send gifts... This misusing of company time has allowed profits to be lost whenever they (the employees) cyber-loaf...

I could be any lamer when I typed tt title out... This could be the 10th post with the same title... *Whines* The woes of having little or no creative juices... =S

Time seems to have accelerated today... I don't know if it's because I've enjoyed today too much or tt there's something wrong with the space time dimension... This could be a sign tt the world is ending soon... 1st there'll be a speed up in time before time slows down to a stop... The death sentence will occur when it reveses on itself and creation is undone... Viola! The world is wiped off from the face of the universe... LOL... What nice imagination I have there... The next thing you know, I'll be saying tt some supernatural force strikes this world and warpped it to another dimension... Maybe next time, I might say tt when the idea is further developed, which might take like ages...

Yeah, yeah, I know, I'm babbling... Tt's simply an introduction... However, before I actually bring you to today's climax, I just wanna note down tt I'm feeling a little sick today... WIth a sore throat and flu, a fever is imminent... Of course, I'm not going to rest in bed and let the day go by just like tt... I'll drink more water and if my temperature is within the fever range, I'll take a panadol - those which combats cold and fever @ the same time - so tt I can kill 2 illness with 1 pill... LOL...

Tt said, now here comes the climax for this entry... I went for a facial today... It's my 1st facial and it's cool... It\'s nice to have the face massaged and @ the same time, know tt my skin is being cleansed as well... It's a truly refreshing feeling... LOL.. I shall go back for more facials and who know??? My skin could get better as a result of tt... *Grins* Whoever said tt men don't do facials obviously still resides in the last century... For the record, I plan to try pendicures and manicures as well... After all, if you want to look good, might as well go all out and try everything... >_<

Before I conclude, I wanna complain abt my parents again... To adults (read: Age > 30), using the computer is akin to playing games... Are they so blind tt they can't see tt I'm typing here??? Is this a form of gaming?! Going by tt logic, even if you're surfing the internet for information, research, or to check mails, you're gaming... Even if you're watching animes on the com, you're gaming... CRAP!!! Furthermore, the adult's logic is loaded with flaws... To my parents (and I bet most parents out there as well), as long as you're playing games, you have to rest your eyes every hour... However, if you're not playing games, aka blogging, watching animes, you can carry on w/o resting your eyes... RUBBISH!!! Last but not least, is there a difference between watching a show on a LCD screen and a plasma TV??? My parents seems to think there is apart from the difference in the size of the screen... For those who complain abt my ungodly long entries, you can now breathe a sigh of relieve for I foresee this entry to be rather short... The 'shortness' might not meet your expectation and I can't help it as the term used, 'short', is a relative term... LOL...

Now jumping into topic proper, I went to [Suki Sushi] with [YH] and [MJ]... If you haven't realise, I've been to tt restaurant like umpteen times already and the reason I'm going there so often isn't because the food's great or anything... Everyone knows tt when it comes to the food department, I'm particularly picky on what I eat (no veggies, no seafood, no raw stuff, no spicy stuff)... So it's weird tt I'm going to a restaurant which specializes in all tt I don't eat... Well, the 2 gals like it, so I'll follow suit... It's the company tt's impt to me, not the food, as all I ever eat there are the egg, crab, corn and tuna sushis plus the crabmeat tempura... Anyway, I had a good time with them joking and eating... Plus I could wrap the fact tt they're such big eaters over my mind!!! Can you believe tt the moment they make their 1st order, they ordered for 1 set of every sashimi tt's present in the menu?! Maybe you find tt normal... But I was totally stunned when I heard tt order as it's like they're not taking any chances... I mean, usually when you're @ such buffet, you'll do it slow, like when you're writing an essay... You'll do the intro, then build the story for the climax... Similarly, you'll eat slow, go for the appetizers before diving into the main course... This was not the case for tt 2 gals... Totally stunned...

Now abt the customer service... The waiter and waitresses are - I can't put this any nicer as the impact will be lost - bad... Half the time our orders are lost in transaction and the other half, I couldn't find any waiter to place my orders... Sometimes I wonder if they did submit our orders to the kitchen or did they simply note my order and throw it into the bin... Tt's how I was feeling whenever our orders wasn't served to us until I made tt same order again... Not only tt... None of the waiters have a smile on their faces... It's like they're all under the same emo gang or something... Sheesh!!! Furthermore, I didn't know a spoon is not needed when one drinks miso soup as none of the orders with miso soup comes with a spoon... -_-"'

Lastly, there's this particular waiter tt I feel I should delicate this whole paragraph to him... For the whole of our stay there, he didn't smile one bit, didn't engage with the customers and he did a lot of stoning... I remembered waving him over to take my order and he literally have to zonk out for 2 full seconds before deciding to stroll over and take my order... Plus his face is totally black, like tt of [Justice Bao]'s, giving me the impression tt he's totally pissed with everything in the whole wide world... Oh, and he likes to do a lot of emo poses... For goodness sake!!! You're in a restaurant, not @ a modeling agency... You're supposed to patrol so tt when a customer needs help, they can get help immediately... *Roll eyes* Like what I tell the 2 gals, 'he (and all the other waiters) seems like they went clubbing the night before and didn't get sufficient sleep before coming to work today'....

The 3 of us took [NeoPrints] and it's great, esp when the 2 gals spent almost like 45 mins designing the 4 shots... I'm not going to post the pics here as it's too much of a hassle (read = I'm plain lazy)... Perhaps one of the gals will post it up and you'll get to see it... Otherwise, too bad... LOL!!! =P

Oh dear... The fact tt my brain is rotting can no longer be denied... The truth is simply so glaring!!! Just look @ my previous entry and you'll notice all the grammatical and spelling errors flooding the entry... Ugh... Everytime I read tt entry and spot an error, I cringed @ the mistake tt's there... I could've changed it, but hey, my purpose of coming online isn't to check on the content of my previous entry (in other words, I'm just plain lazy)...

Enough complaining... Let's go into topic proper... Yesterday I headed to [SunTec] all by myself... If I were to keep track, tt would be my 2nd time window shopping alone... No biggie, really... Opps, I'm beginning to digress... As I was saying, I was window shopping @ [SunTec] and I was surprised @ the changes tt the place has gone through (I have been living under a rock)... [Mache]'s gone, there seems to be a fountain in the shopping centre all of a sudden and more shops are popping up...

When I was there, I visited the [My. Playground] @ the 3rd floor... From the publicity by [Tennage], it seems like a cool place for teenages to hang out as seems to be lots of stuff available... Do note the keyword 'seems' as when I arrived @ tt place, most shops are still vacant and there wasn't much ppl patronizing the shops... I guess it's still @ it's infanct stage and given time, it'll get more attention... After all, it's in [SunTec], unlike [Dohby Xchange], which is placed just above the MRT stn... After all, if I were to head to [PS], I would simply take the underground link from the MRT stn to the shopping centre, rather than head out into the open and cross the road... The latter, you see, would result in me walking pass [Dohby Xchange]... All in all, my point is, location's important and this is totally an understatment...

Back to [My. Playground]... The shops there are really funky... Girls, you'll be spoilt for choice... However, this does not mean tt the guys are left out... There's a couple of shops for the guys as well and I've come to the conclusion tt the only thing tt's of variety for guys are our tops... Whatever shop I look into, there're a hugh selection of tops for guys and only those few bottoms (pants, jeans, cargo pants, berms) to choose from and there aren't much variety in the designs either... Oh, and there's also a shop for [Loilita] fans.. Maybe [MJ] might like it...

Apart from clothes and accessories, there's also food!!! There's a cafe with manga, so you can actually enjoy some nice beverages and read mangas @ the same time... I didn't get a good look @ the selection of comics they have, but I did get a glimpse of [Celestial Zone II] and [Fruit Basket]... LOL... If I were to go there again, I'll be sure to try tt cafe out...

In addition, beside tt cafe, there's a waffles shop... It's really cosy with all those small chairs and tables (though it isn't cosy for me as I have long legs... -_-"') and music (I don't know much abt generes, so all I can say is, it's not [Linkin Park] kinda music)... The waffles are yummy as you can order waffles with spread in them as well as add on ice-cream... I ordered a combo of waffles and a drink, plus a scoop of ice-cream for $8.50... I don't know abt you ppl, but I do find it's okay... After all, it's under $10 right??? LOL!!! However, I must return back there with friends as I wanna try their waffles fondue... For $14.90, you'll be waffles, 5 scoop of ice-creams, fruits, marshmellows, a cup of drink and duh, the pot of hot chocolate... I can't say for sure whether it's worth it or not, but it's worth a try anyway... Heke... ^_^

Gee, enough of the advertising... I spent the whole day walking and I've finally bought [Quan]'s and [JY]'s b-day gift... Disclaimer!!! I'm not very good @ this kinda thing, so I just hope tt they'll like what I'm planning to give them... Don't bother asking me what I've gotten for them... I'm not tt dumb to reveal it here and spoil the surprise, though [YH] already knows abt it as I did consult her 1st before I bought the gifts...

The other thing I bought was [The Covenant] DVD... It was a bad invenstment as the movie was falls short of my expectation by like a hugh gap... Maybe I've watched too much [Charmed] and [Supernatural]... There wasn't much action and the other [Sons Of Ispwich] seems to play no role in the movie or whatsoever, expect for the roles of extras maybe... I was expecting the 4 sons to band together to defeat the bad guy tt's out to steal their powers, and more display of powers apart from just plain telekenesis...

Maybe my tough luck on locating the disc was a sign tt my decision to invest in this movie was a bad one... I couldn't find the disc @ whatever video store tt I step foot in @ [SunTec] and [Marina Square]... It's like the disc is eluding me or something like tt... Hmmm... Now tt I'm @ this topic, I might as well put in a few complains abt [HMV] @ [CityLink]... The ppl there are like so bad in their service... I mean, since you're already @ the database, why can't you just check if there's stock, instead of pointing me to the shelves where all the DVDs are kept and to call me to look under 'C'... HELLO!!! I'm not an idiot you know... I approached you because I've searched and couldn't find the disc... What's worse, I decided to approach another salesperson to check and she did the same thing... Point me back to the shelves... By then I was so lacking in patience tt I simply shot back @ her tt I couldn't find it... She attempted to prove me wrong but tt was futile... Come on, I've searched tt rack like 4 times already... The end result??? Tt disc was out of stock after tt salesperson finally checked the database... Humph... It was a total waste of time and manpower... If only the 1st salesperson had told me tt it was out of stock, I wouldn't have to bother anyone else... BAD SERVICE!!!

After [The Reaping] and now [The Covenant], I think I've made up my mind... I'm not going to buy [Ghost Rider]... I'm going to borrow it from [XP] to save myself from making yet another bad choice of investment...

2 days ago, there's the TV premiere of [Constantine] and I watched it... It sounds odd for me to watch this movie on TV as I've watched this movie when it's screening in the cinemas... After all, this movie has a supernatural theme and I'm a sucker when it comes to such themes... In case anyone didn't know, I happen to have the DVD of tt movie as well (point proven)...

The main explanation as to why I'm watching this movie for the 4th time is simply... As I watch the movie, it brings back all those memories of the time I went to watch this movie with [The Gang]... It was a late night movie and I still remember vividly tt [Dar] and I were gushing abt how marvelous the movie was even as we hanged around [Mac] for a while before calling it a day for the outing... LOL... I still can't imagine tt the rest of the ppl found the movie scary... Puh-leaze... It's just some demons...

That wasn't all, obviously... I still remember tt it was around the [Chinese New Year] tt I saw this movie as I remember tt while doing our house visiting, [Dar] and I were narrating the awesome movie to [XP] @ [Quan]'s and [XP] initially regretted not watching the movie with us... She regretted watching it later though as she felt tt our narration was by far better than tt of the movie itself... Can you imagine tt?!

Haiz... I should move on... After all, in life, there sure will be more interesting events worth remembering... Don't get me wrong... This doesn't mean tt I'll forget all those beautiful moments tt I've had with everyone in the past... However, I just can't help having this sense of nostalgia... Perhaps this is what being human means... Haha...

Enough abt [Constantine]... Yesterday I was on [Off] and as I was @ [Lot 1] having my lunch, I decided to go purchase a DVD on a movie tt I wanted to catch in the cinema but didn't get a chance to - [The Reaping]... I didn't want to catch it alone as it has horror on it and I don't wanna be the only one screaming in the cinema, mind you... The movie also has a [M18] rating due to some sexual content... However, after watching the movie, I feel tt the rating is over-rated... I mean, [Underworld: Evolution]'s slapped with a [NC 16] for it's sexual scenes which are filmed under good lighting condition, so I don't understand why [The Reaping]'s given [M18] when the sex scenes are like so dimmed tt you almost can't see a thing??? Okay, maybe it's because of the contrast on my LCD screen... I watched it on PC... Despite tt, even [XP] didn't realise tt there's any sex scene involved, so maybe the contrast on my LCD is reason enough...

Okay, enough abt the rating... Abt the movie... For the 1st time, I fail to understand the meaning of such movie... Perhaps I wasn't paying much attention to; or tt most scenes are too dimmed on my LCD screen tt I couldn't make out what's happening in the movie... I will watch it again when I have the time to get a better picture of the movie... This time, I shall watch it on my TV screen... Who knows??? Maybe I might uncover meaning of the movie as well as to why it deserves a [M18] rating... LOL... Of course, there's always this option of watching the movie with [The Gang]...

The last time I actually asked someone out for a movie, it was with [Lynn] and we watched [Rush Hour 3]... This time, I asked [YH]. [Bec] and [SL] for this movie... As to why I choose to watch a movie @ this time of the year, it's because I managed to get my hands on 2 free [Golden Village] tickets which expires by the end of this mth... Hence I decided to treat both [YH] and [Bec]... However, it's not because tt I've obtained this free tickets tt gave me the idea of treating the 2 of them... I've already decided to give a treat to [YH] even before I knew of this fabulous bargain... Of course, the moment my dad gave me those 2 tickets, it's only natural for me to decide tt I wanna treat [Bec]...

The movie... Let's talk abt the movie 1st... The movie's inspiring... It shows tt no matter what the odds are, if you're determined, you'll eventually achieve your goal... Okay, so all family movies portrays tt morale and more - courage, friendship, loyalty, etc... No matter what, the humour in this movie's also good... I don't know abt you ppl, but I'm the kind tt doesn't goes for those [Mr. Bean] humour... Doing dumb things doesn't tickle my funny bones... I go for the witty humour...

LOL... Now it's time to talk abt [SL]... He's very punctual today... Actually arriving early... It's kinda shocking for me as I'm known for my crazy habit of being insanely early... Of course, today I actually arrive @ [Plaza Singapura] on the dot, if not just a mere 5 mins late max... I was enjoying my lunch @ [Pizza Hut] way too much tt I almost lost track of the time... >_<

It's good to finally meet up with an old friend after such a long time even though we didn't talk much abt anything in particular... It's really funny... It's [Sunday] and there's something depressing abt it... Tt's because the thought of going to work tml after 4 days of break totally destroys whatever good mood I have... Like I've said before, I'm still in the studying mood and I've yet to accept the fact tt long holidays are a think of the past...

Hence my crappiness in the morning when I'm told to leave house for breakfast... Tt mood didn't improve much as I took bus no. 67 to [Bt. Timah], despite the fact tt I'm gonna eat the pratas there again and tt I saw some really nice-looking [Nee Ann Poly] guys... I reckon it's because my parents are around and I couldn't get any chance to gawk @ them... Nice look and body... Mmm... >_<

However, I think the saying tt 'A hungry man is an angry man' is true for my mood did get slightly better once I'm eating those delicious pratas with my beloved [Milo Dinosaur]... LOL... I really like the pratas there as they have all kinda sweet pratas... *Grins* This time, I ate the [Strawberry Prata], [Pineapple & Mozerella Prata] and [Ice-cream Prata]... LOL... I'm really a sucker for sweet and weird (I prefer the term 'unique' though) stuff... =P

*Sigh* The end of this day is drawing nearer by the second and I don't have a choice but to accept the inevitable... Yet before I actually end this day, I managed to sign up for [Audition] and I'm trying this game for a change of gaming environment... @ least I'm not out there in the cyber world killing monsters using magic or brute force... For once, I'm playing and training my reflexes... LOL... Seems like after rotting for 9 mths, brains getting slow as I couldn't do any songs tt's faster than 95 bpm in the game... I totally couldn't process those keys displayed in front of me in time and I have the tendency to press the 'left directional arrow' whenever the 'right' arrow flashes or vise versa... Let's face it... Anyone observant enough will wonder why am I blogging @ 1430 hrs on a working day and I confess... I'm pulling the AWOL stint, like tt CPL who was caught a couple of weeks ago @ [Cathy Cinelesiure]... Similar, but not congruent as I'm not armed or anyhting and I'm seeking refuge @ my house... >_<

Now, anyone with a brain will realise it like 30 secs ago tt I'm pulling your leg... I mean, if I'm running away or attempting a disappearance act, do you think I'll be tt retarded to reveal my whereabouts to you, much less be able to blog as I don't own a lappy or anything... I'm cleating my Off, you dimwits... =P

So it's wonderful tt I'm able to get a day off from work and all as work is stressful... Hey, doing admin work isn't totally stress-free okay... You'll find out for yourself when you're out there working, so let's not digress...

I left home @ abt 1030 hrs and I headed to [PJC]... There're better place to go, but I just have to run an errant there as I'm delivering some pics tt I've burnt to [Ms. Lee] as what I've promised like 3 mths ago... Hey [XP], seems like you're the leader of the biggest nation and I'm the vice-president... Anyway, the moment I arrived @ the sch, I feel like I'm appearing @ the wrong timing... I mean, who visit the sch @ this time of the yeat??? It's not like today's a special occasion or anything... Worse, the [J2]s are all having their [PreLims] so I'm more or less surrounded by students doing their last min mugging... Those must be the [Econs] students as the paper's in 1400 hrs today... Surprisingly, I don't see [Dar] around... Could he be in the [Library]??? Who knows...

Anyway, I arrived @ the school @ abt [1100 hrs] and I couldn't find [Ms. Lee]... Thank goodness for [Mr. Kwok] in pointing me to the [General Office] to enquire abt the teacher's timetable... LOL... I didn't know such a thing existed @ all... Turns out tt [Ms. Lee]'s having lessons from 1000 hrs to 1230 hrs in the same classroom, with a short break @ 1130 hrs as the class changes... Lucky moi for I only have to wait for a mere 30 mins...

[Ms. Lee] was surprised tt I appeared in sch today, which is to be expected as like I've said, today's not a special day or anything... However, we couldn't chat for long as she has lessons so with my job accomplished, it's time for me to head over to [Bukit Timah] for my lunch... I don't find it strange to travel to [Bt. Timah] for lunch... Some ppl travel from one end to the other end of this tiny red dot in search for some good food, so what I'm doing here isn't such a big deal...

What did I eat??? I ate pratas... Not those plain pratas, but [Mozerella Cheese Prata], [Banna Prata] and [Blueberry Prata] to be exact... And a cup of [Milo Dinosaur]... Yes!!! I ate 3 pratas... But it's really nice, esp the [Mozerella Cheese Prata]... You can really tastet he cheese as you bite into the prata... Totally yummy!!!

Oh well, once I'm done with my lunch, here I am, back in my comfy house, blogging... You didn't really expect me to be out shopping, do you??? I don't have tt much patience and I'd rather be playing games, watching animes or looking @ good-looking guys... >_<

Giving Up An Outing... (Imported From Xanga)

I was supposed to head over to [SunTec] today to attend the [Asian Games Convention 2007]... By using the word 'supposed', it means to say tt I initially wanted to go, but changed my mind at the last min... Why the sudden change of heart??? For starters, the convention is to show-case all those new games tt will be out in the future on the various gaming consoles... Tt itself is the problem as I don't have any new gaming console... The PC is not counted in my case as let's face it... No matter how I longed to play non-stop, my parents are always around to spoil the atmosphere... And the mood will be much worse if I'm playing those games tt requires you to save before quitting or to use a save pt to save... Imagine this... You're in the middle of some scenes in the games where the storyline is unfolding (think [FF]), you can't save, and your parents demand tt you rest your eyes or to stop playing as it's too late in the game... You have no choice but to quit w/o saving, resulting in you having to replay those scenes again for the second time before you can continue the game... The mood will totally be destroyed...

Secondly, there's no point in seeing what cool games will be out as I can't have them and it's dumb to only try out the game for awhile, esp those RPGs... It's totally idiotic as you'll never know the storyline and how the character develops... Think playing [FF8] for the 1st 10 mins only... You'll never understand the game, much less appreciate the it as you'll never know the true plot behind the game... Tt said, the only demos worth trying out are those fighting, racing, sports, shotting games, which for the record, doesn't catch my interest nowadays...

The downside of not going to [SunTec] is tt I can't buy those delicious but expensive donuts from [Donut Factory]... I really wanna eat the blueberry, coffee and cheese donuts again (note: it's 3 different donuts of different flavours, not 1 donut with all 3 of them together)... Oh well, some other time perhaps... Or maybe I should try out [Missy Donut] instead and compare??? *Thoughtful look*

Conventions aside, school's resuming in less than 48 hrs... For those out there having their [Prelims], all the best and good luck (if you need them)!!! For those not studying, apply some leave, take a break... Being a workaholic isn't good... Lastly, for those on attachments, my advice is similar to the previous, except tt you can't take leave or anything... Nevertheless, relax when you have the chance!!! *Grins*

I think the life as an adult has totally killed my muse... My creative juice is like so totally drained... Nowadays, I can hardly think of anything decent to blog...

Just last week, I bump into [YS] and we were chatting (like obviously)... She told me tt she's still in those holiday mood while her male classmates have become more matured... As they were studiously paying attention to the lectures and doing their tutorials whereas for her, she has been takling with her female friends... Now this got me thinking... Does NS reallyy make a guy mature???

My response to tt is, probably... I guess they being combat fit plays a part to them growing up faster... With the lack of time playing games and being in roles tt requires leadership, responsibility and teamwork, any guy will grow up... Of course, this doesn't mean tt being non-combat fit equates to maturing slower... Hmmm... After all this typing... The general conclusion is... The determining factor is the individual...

The surrounding can stimulate a person's maturity...However, I suspect tt it's my inability to adapt to the environment tt quickly tt prevent me from growing up when it's time to grow... Which is fine with me as I see no point in being mature just to please the eyes of the public... Call me an indvidualist if you want... My worst dreams have been realised... For 2 days, I've been doing menial work... Of loading boxes of 1.5L * 12 mineral water various kinds of equipments that ranges from brooms (light stuff) to large tables (heavy stuff)... To clearing of rubbish and moving furnitures... It's like having 2 days of 4 hrs of PE lessons... It's hell...

In addition, one does not have to possess foresight to fortell my fate in the next week as the [Army Open House] is starting around tt time, translating to a high chance of me being gunned down to do more menial labour... And don't forget... Tml night I'll be heading back to camp to fill up cans with ice and loading them on tunnels (those large, green army truck) for the [Army Half Marathon]... I just have to bear with it and make it through [Sat] night till [Sun] afternoon before I could finally take a breather and device a way of blocking all those arrows that are flying @ me like tt scene in [300]...

Most ppl complain and whine abt the work they have to do... And I admit, I'm no different from them as well... However, I always try to tell myself tt it's not as bad as I envisioned... Considering the fact tt I tend to think of all the possible worst-case scenerio, whatever tt's real couldn't be tt bad after all... And I would then try to make myself enjoy whatever I'm doing so tt time will fly faster and the job will be completed faster... I'm trying to be optimistic here and if anyone really remembers my troubles, it's tt of [Qi Gong] and acidic wine... I can apply tt to this situation as well... However, after being out of my confort zone @ work, I would really want to be in my confort zone for a couple of hours before I'm being tested on not only my patience with unreasonable superiors, but with using my non-exsitent muscle to do work... Nonetheless, everything will work out fine sooner or later... ^_^

For pessisimist, my optimistism is truly revolting...

The desire to blog is dwindling... To make an excuse for myself, I would say tt life's boring (refer to previous entry) and I'm living in a different world... Let's face it... When I'm still studying, there's still something in common with the rest of my friends... We're all studying... There's a connection there as we're all learning the same subjects, facing the same hurdles... Even though some of us are not in the same sch and I'm @ least 365 days older than everyone, less [Yuling]... Naturally, the moment I'm forced to take a hituas from studying, I feel alienated from almost everyone, both [The Gang] and [DeClique]... After all, my circle of friends is made up of 99% females...

That could be the truth... Or you can say tt I'm addicted to gaming as the real reason for me to neglect my blog... While everyone's busy mugging for the big capital 'A', I'm here rotting my brains away, learning to be lazy... True, I can make use of all these time to get a head start in my [Biz Admin] cse... But would I want to do it??? I'm not the kind who will actually take the iniitiative to do self-study, in case you haven't realised my now... Ah whatever...

Okay, apart from having the sense tt everything in my life has left me out (sounds terrible huh???), I feel like as enter the adult world, I'm becoming less rebellious (not tt I'm rebellious in the 1st place), accepting whatever tt's imposed on me as though it's fated... 1st it's tt darned [Qi Gong]... I'm not the meditative type as I feel tt sitting for 30 mins doing nth but concentrating on your breathing is a complete waste of time as my mind is always going off tangent on what I'm supposed to concentrate... The moment I start to stone, I'll start to think abt [RO], hunks, anime, etc...

Then there's the newly imposed drinking of [Apple Cider] by no one else but my dad... It's basically just vinegar... But he made it sound as though it's super effective in treating skin problems, allergies, etc... I know I have acne and I've followed his instructions by consulting the doctor... I'm taking the doctor's prescribed medication and like what the doc says, it needs time to take effect... I'm sick of being subjected to so many try this, try tt as it might be helpful... I guess this is how a test subject feels huh...

I haven't been blogging the past couple of weeks mainly because life's has been mundane... I'm not going to elaborate on it... Rather, I'm going to talk abt some current affairs (news tt's published in today's papers)...

The no. 1 on my list is tt of [Mattel] recalling some of it's toys worldwide because the paint on those toys are said to contain excess amt of lead... Everyone knows the effect of lead on the human body... And it's quite a big deal as children worldwide might be harmed from being exposed to those toys... Brain dmg and all... What's even more shocking is tt those toys are made in [China]...

I used to disapprove my parent's view tt good from [China]'s lousy as it's a fact tt [China]'s becoming more recognised globally... Thus, it's only natural tt there'll be more exports from [China]... Tt's no running from those made in [China] products... Therefore, I believed tt the quality of goods is the same regardless of where it's made from...

Then I came across this article on [China] using some lousy paint tt's containing more lead than it should have... Gee... Is this their way of ensuring tt the cost of production remains competitive??? By using cheap and lousy materials??? If this is really the case, then I forsee [China] not being able to survive by banking on it's export for economic growth... The backlash will destroy whatever little reputation [China] have and looking @ it's track record locally, I doubt it'll be easy to rebuild tt kinda trust back into their products...

Tt isn't the only article concerning [China] tt I wanna discuss abt... The other article which I've read concerning [China] is tt of them producing all kinda fake [Harry Potter] books... They seemed unconcerned abt all those copyright laws imposed onto the world by the [US], blantantly using the [Harry Potter] concept to concot all kinda weird stories like [Harry Potter And The Porcelin Dolls], [Harry Potter And The Showdown], etc... Gee... Personally, this makes me look down on [China] as it's so full of fake stuff... If a lawsuite comes your way, you deserve it...

Don't get me wrong... If you use the whole [Harry Potter] concept but it's not related to the original story in terms of characters' name and all, then I wouldn't have minded... But if you simply use everything and proclaim tt it's the continuation of the original [Harry Potter] saga, then it's really just crap...

Hmmm... I understand tt [China]'s trying to making a name and be recognised globally... And they've succeeded... NMCs are targeting [China] as it's an unexplored gold mine... It's so filled with investment opportunities due to it's low cost of production, low exchange rate and whatever econs knowledge you can dump in this context... The so-called [Black Friday]'s here again... Obviously, it's pure supersitition as I didn't encounter any extremely bad fortune today... The only hurdles today are all work-related issues and I'm not going to attribute it all to bad luck... If this is the case, then what lesson in life are we ever going to learn??? If whatever mistakes tt we made are all due to fate, it's akin to saying tt our life is dictated by another omnipotent being, that we're all dolls being manipulated... This is a fatalistic view on life even though to a limited extent, it's set in stone as to the environment we'll be living...

However, how we react to this external stimuli is all up to our own individual self... I do remember this 10/90 rule tt I've read in a e-mail @ work... It's said tt in any situation, 10% is what we can't control, which is the event tt's taking place, be it disastrous or otherwise... The remaining 90% though, refers to how we react to the situation which determines how it'll affect us... Therefore, no matter what happens, if we look @ it @ a positive view, our mood, mindset and thoughts will be affected as such...

As to why I'm typing all these, it's all due to work... I'll bitch abt all the unhappiness (it has already started)... But when I'm done bitching, all those probs will be some topics to get my mouth working... I'm determined not to let it affect me... I have to be optimistic!!!

Hmmm... The day's ending soon and tml will be [PJ]'s [College Day]... I'll be attending the event as I'm going back to collect a [Acdemic Achivement Award]... Hmmm... I do hope tt I'll be able to see some members of [The Gang]... It's been like ages since I've last seen any of them... LOL... After not studying for quite some time, I feel as if my standard of English has gotten from bad to worse... Wait, scratch tt... My standard of English has worsen... From the C6 tt I've gotten during the 'A's, I guess if I were to take a test now, it would probably be a very terrible fail... It's funny... And ironic... In the past, I don't really like reading the papers... Not tt it'll get my fingers dirty or anything... It's just tt, my interest lies elsewhere... In gaming, to be more precise... Of course, most of the time, I'm doing all those homework and attempting to store all those facts and figures into my brain... However, now tt I've taken a hiatus from studying, I've finally realise the importance of keeping up with those 'current affairs'... Hence, I'm beginning to pick up the habit of reading the papers... After all, it's never to late for such things, right???

Tt's just one of the many reasons I'm weaving up to convince myself... There's also the reason of being more intellectual... As to which is the main reason, I'm not so sure of it myself... I do know 1 thing for certain though, is tt it's part of me trying to escape from being dictated from doing something...My dad wants me to practice [Qi Gong] on a frequent basis as well as to give my sis tuition during every weekend... In the end, I hardly have time for myself to be free of worries and everything and to really concentrate on something tt I like to do... Instead of being in jitters, fearing when will the scolding descend on me for not doing what he dictates tt I should do...

I don't have much time for myself in the past as well... But I don't have to worry so much in the past... The most I have to worry abt are my grades and tt's all there's to it... Yet when I've finally completed half the studying quest, I was denied of my reward... To really relax and to indulge in my gaming... I have been thinking abt this for quite some time already and I feel cheated... All those talks by my parents abt not playing so much when I'm studying or when the exams are near have never equate to me getting the 'play-all-I-want' card when I get the good grades tt I painstakingly slogged my life for... It's all a lie... A big damn lie... All they wanted is for me to stop staring @ the computer and do what they want me to do... Why can't they see tt I do not like giving my sis tuition??? Or tt I hate (note choice of word used here) practicing tt retarded [Qi Gong]??? I understand the former, yet I wonder why can't my sis be left to cope for herself??? Doing badly 3 times in [A-Maths] for the same topic doesn't mean tt she need tuition for the whole subject... Hell, I'm simply repeating what the textbook/ teacher said to her... Besides, I don't have anyone to help me in the family and I still could pull it off... She, on the other hand, still have me when she's in doubt... So I wonder what's with the routine... When I agreed to help her 3 yrs ago, I don't remember agreeing to help her for life... Gee... Now I feel cheated once agani by my dad...

As for the latter, it's his belief... And since I don't believe in it, why can't he see tt no matter how long or how often I practice tt thing, it ain't going to help... I seriously can't accept the fact tt sitting down and concentrating on our breathing is going to cure me of my imminent blindness... Rather, I feel tt he's dooming me instead... By constantly reminding me to practice as it might help slow down my retina degeneration when the last thing I would like to be reminded of is tt I'm going blind in the near future... It seems like almost every other day I'm reminded of my eye condition and if the next check-up yield even more disastraous results, kudos to my dad for worsening my eyesight...

Oh, and there's the issue of work too... Unlike in school, when you dislike a certain someone, you can ignore them and refuse to make contact with them... Or to reduce your oontact with them to a value tt's approaching 0... However, when you're in the working world, you have to play nice no matter what... All in the bid to prevent being knifed in the back... Don't misunderstand... I like going to work as much as I like to stare @ the conputer screen... @ least I could escape from all my worries... It's just tt the amt of acting you have to do when you're facing your superiors or you collegues and the fact tt I still have to do those act @ home tt's really tiring...

For once, I really wish I'm another person... One with confident, with guts to trash it out with ppl you do not like, to stand up for what you believe in, to be brave... Gosh, I'm so freaking tired... Mentally...

Despite all tt, my mind hasn't strayed from all those trashy imaginations tt I have thanks to all those books I've read... I'm not lamenting here, mind you... I like to imagine all those... It's how I keep myself sane - irony, again - from all those stress tt I have... It's another avenue of my escapism...

I have been reading a graphic novel... It's not manga... It's those English comic, only more mature in content... It's titled 'The Last Man'... There's issues such as gender discrimination, war, the environment, homosexuality as well as tons of other political issues in it... It's a really interesting book and what's keeping my in la-la land are not all those profound topics tt I've listed... Rather, it's more dumb... Before I tell you what I'm pre-occupied with, let's start with the intro... Like the title suggest, it's abt the last man on Earth trying to save humanity - with the help from a female doctor, a female govt. agent and his male monkey - from a plague tt wiped out all the males in the world except for he and his male monkey... Now, the issue tt's keeping me deep in thought is this: Most guys might be in cloud 9 to be the last male on Earth... It's as if Adam's being surrounded by millions of Eves... But it's not a really pleasant idea... Imagine trying to procreate like tt... I doubt the last male will even survive tt... LOL... ow shift the focus to me... What if I'm the last male on Earth??? I'll probably go mad... No more hunks to ogle @, no more guys to have a crush on... Not nice... Haha... >_<

*Sigh* I feel so much better after pouring out all those conflicting thoughts... I shall stop here for now and I haven't forgotten abt all those pics tt I'ev yet to post here... *Dodge behind some rocks* x_x
