It's just 2 more days till the weekend and I can't wait for it to pass... I'm eager for the weekend to come... The time has finally come for me to watch [Spider-Man 3]... Yeah, I know... I'm slow... But if it's still screening, it doesn't really matter now, does it??? What's the point of being the 1st few thousands to watch the movie??? If you can even get good seats, then I'm fine with it... But if your luck is trashy and by squeezing to get into the theater, all you can manage is the front row seat, then it'll suck... Considering tt the movie is 2.5 hrs long... Good luck with the neck...

You can get to brag to everyone tt you've watched the movie, but overall, tt's just it... Unless you're those hard-core [Spider-Man] fan, then it's worth being no. 1 in trying to catch the movie... Otherwise, for those normal humans like me, you won't get any prizes or anything just by watching it 1st... Hence I'd prefer to wait for a while till the buzz subside before catching the movie... And this [Sat] is the day... Of course, I'm a little worried now cause I've checked online and [CCK] doesn't screen [SM 3]... Bummer... Worse, there's no forcast for [Sat]... Which means I've to wait till tml night to check out the time slots for the movie and decide on where to watch the movie...

And it's tricky becasue I'm bringing my sis along to watch the movie and after the movie, she's not tagging along for the [World Book Fair]... Therefore, I've to select a place tt's not too far off so tt she can head home by herself safely and the rest of us can head over to [SunTec] with ease... Oh well... With so many uncertainities, nth can be finalised now... I've no choice but to wait till tml before deciding on where to watch the movie, what time to catch it and where to have lunch...

I shall now officially wash my hands off planning the next gang's outing... It's not permanent... It's just tt I shall not be so dumb as to dedicate work to myself (in other words, shoot myself with a gold-plated arrow)... Off to maple world!!!

Intro: Like I've mentioned before, a short entry like this occurs only once in a blue moon and I believe that that moment has once again presented itself in this blog...

Body: Headed to [AMK Hub] and [Junction 8]... It's not on my own accord and being a person who doesn't see much purpose in shopping to kill time, it's a completely boring activity and despite how my parents seems to find tt both places are interesting, I'm really begging to differ here... The only amusing fact is tt for [AMK Hub], the shopping centre and the MRT station and the bus interchange are all merge into one big entity... And the bus interchange is air-conditioned... In the past, it would be cool to witness it 1st hand... But after today, I'm wondering why did I even think tt it's cool... It's not like you're going to camp in the bus interchange or anything... Furthermore, are we being spoilt by society??? Needing air-con everywhere we go??? A little humidity once in a while won't kill... Huh... The next thing you know, the whole country will be in a air-con dome, throwing us into eternal winter...

Of course, then there's dinner to complain as well... The whole family travelled all the way to [Bishan] just to have chicken rice... You'd think tt it's fantastic or famous or totally decilious, seeing the long queue and the effort my family went through just to try it out... Gee, if long queues is a gauge to how delicious a food is, then I bet [Mac], [KFC] and all the other fast food joints are the best food in the world, seeing that they always have long queues... Whatever...

As I was saying, I'd give the chicken rice a 2 stars outta 5... Their cold chicken speciality is just not to my taste... It gives me the impression tt the chicken has been left out in the open for too long or it could be the leftovers from yesterday... Okay, now I'm grossed out... Totally...

Conclusion: Given a choice b/w going out, get a chance to see more guys and staying home gaming, I'll choose the latter... Living in my own fantasy seems much more fulfilling as compared to wishing for some hunk to chat me up...

I'll try to keep this entry short as I can't wait to continue my fantasy in the world of [FFVII]... I'm living in my own fantasy, where my job is to save the world, kill monsters to earn money and become stronger... Instead of being in the real world where we have to study, earn money the hard way and get our souls sucked out of our body till we're just an empty shell as we work like mad...

I can't believe my [Dad]'s so oblivious to the fact tt I do not wanna practice qi gong... He's taking up lessons on tt and since it's beneficial, he's dragging all of us into it as well... What I'm trying to say is, if you like it, then go do it!!! My interest is in another realm from his and why must he drag me into his world?! No matter how much I tried to display my disinterested view, he just won't take no for an answer... Gee... Then what's the pt of telling me tt he's going to sign us up for those qi gong class?! No matter how I say I don't like it, he'll simply go on some long, boring speech on how I shouldn't be so close-minded... I should try it first... Yeah right... And waste more money...

Humph... And when I gave some non-committed answer to his demand tt I practice what he's preaching, his mind presumed tt I'm agreeing with whatever he's saying... It's the easiest way to blow him off instead of rejecting his idea and end up on the receiving end of a long speech again... Or I'm gonna get a scolding... Weird huh, getting a scolding just because my views are different from his... *shrugs*

Of course, now tt I mention tt, I remember the other time when I got a scolding from him when I refused to accept money from him as I have enough... Unbelievable right??? So I learn from tt and whenever he offers me money, I'll just take it, whether I'll use it is another issue altogether... Of course, just a couple of weeks back, when he offer me money and I simply took it - no questions asked, he was wondering why I'm different now... Not rejecting the offer anymore... Huh... I wonder why...

Zzz... Stubborn guy... And don't get me started on why I'm not practicing qi gong... It's a complete waste of time... I'd rather spend those time on gaming or reading my novel then sitting there, concentrating on my breathing and directing my 'qi' to where my body needed it most... It's damn uncomfortable to sit for 30 mins and not do anything...

I'm totally peeved... What is this organisation trying to promote??? Sure... They keep saying tt @ the end of our liability, we boys will become men, learning responsibility, teamwork, blah, blah, blah... But tt's a lie I tell you... Instilling responsibility through discipline is not going to work... Making us report on time by threatening us with extra duties might work for ppl higher ranks, with authority... Yet when left alone, will those guys be on time??? Definitely not as there's no one to reprimand them, discipline them...

Why am I typing all this??? Well, 2 days ago was my usual duty... I have no qualms doing my duty on a [Friday]... Heck, I kinda like it... @ least I need not work the next day... I can get my butt home and take a nice long shower and all... Everything's perfect I tell you... Until the next day came and the person on duty didn't bloody turn up... He's supposed to be there @ 8 am... And guys being guys, are never so particular when it comes to being on time... So I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and waited 30 mins before I began to hunt down his contact no.... All thanks to the outdated nominal roll... Of course, there's the updated copy in the e-mail... I didn't realised this until much later... Can't believe no one actually bothered to print it and replace the old copy... It's not very hard to do the above-mentioned... Not like the ink's toxic or anything... I'm digressing...

I called him and asked where the hell is he... Is he on the way or something... His reply added fuel to my rage... He simply told me, without any apologetic tone, tt he's sick, having a upset tummy and couldn't turn up... Come on... If you're sick, @ least have to courtesy to call and inform so tt the your replacement can be informed in advance to appear in camp... I'm not psychic... I can't sense tt you're sick or anything... Because of tt guy irresponsible act, I wasn't able to go home @ 8 am... I have to wait for his replacement to arrive and he came @ 11 am... And I bet tt the other guy wasn't very pleased @ well... To be forced to cancel his plans and report to camp without any pior warnings...

Grrr... Guys will always be guys... Sickening... And to think tt they have the audacity to proclaim tt they're the more superior sex... My foot...

Busy... (Imported From Xanga)

I've been busy... Not with h/w... Tt's like so yesterday... Neither am I busy with work... In my case, I'm forbidden to actually bring work outta my work place, which is good, if you consider what normal adults have been going through almost everyday... Stressed up due to deadlines and all... Ha~!!! If I can't meet deadlines, then continue tml lor... Afterall, being an insider, efficiency is all but fiction...

After narrowing down... The only time consuming stuff is to be in contact with the outside world... So the last [Sat], I finally set foot into [Orchard] once again... This time, it's [05S17]... Though almost everyone is absent, except for those few who would make the effort to actually appear, I still had a good time... Esp @ [NYDC]... The pasta's nice and the mocha's excellant... Simply imagine a mini fish tank of iced mocha... Nuff said for those who like such stuff...

Of course, interacting with ppl is never my forte... So when they went to watch a movie @ [Cineleisure], I decided to take stroll all the way to [PS] and for once, I actually did spend money... Rented another of [Kelley Armstrong]'s novel, [Bitten] - the last book tt I've been looking for but couldn't find in the library - from [San's Bookstore] for a net payment of $6... $15 initial payment and $9 resale price... A little ex as compared to those [Charmed] book tt I've rented in the past...

Of course, when I'm done with the book, I shall look forward to getting my hands on the latest book from her as well... [No Humans Involved]... But before tt, I shall watch [Spider-Man 3] and read it's novel... Yes... I have the novel as well... My sis bought it for me for my 19th birthday the next day... It's really thoughtful of her... So whoever's reading this and have designs on my book... DREAM ON!!! LOL... To put it simply... All my books are out-of-bounds to everyone except me... I'm not kidding...

Anyway, I also did bought 3 [Fahrenheit] poster for $2 in total @ [Comics Connection]... It's super worth it lor... 1 for my sis, 1 for [YH] and 1 for [Bec]... Don't ask me why am I doing this... I just feel like I should shower some ppl with gifts once in a while... *Grins* =D

My last spending spree was on the PC version of [FFVII]... It's an old game, but it's once of the best [FF] games ever... The revolutionary version tt brings [FF] to a whole new level of game play and CGI effects... So I spent $34.90 on it... Only to find tt I couldn't run it after 1 whole day of trying to install it in the com and failing miserably... Of course, if it still isn't working, I wouldn't be blogging here... I wouldn't be on the line with the tech support staff, trying to get it working...

The prob??? I didn't use the admin acc to install the game, resulting in the installationg process being incomplete... You might wonder why I didn't notice this sooner... I would have... But think abt it... A game tt runs on [Win 95] being installed in [XP]... Do you think the game can recognised the admin acc??? I seriously doubt so... Reckon tt during the installation process, whatever is blocked, the disc just skips... -_-"'

To think I'm almost to the point of breaking down during my 19th birthday because of tt... @ least the cake is something to remember for... Fruit cake... Not your ordinary type though... This cake contains peaches, kiwis, grapes, strawberries, blueberries and really sweet white chocs... Tt was the [Mother's Day] cake... But my family decided to combine it and make it my b-day cake as well as bakeries doesn't sell b-day cakes on [Mother's Day]...!!! Weird...

Oh well... Guess this entry is long enough... I'm now a year nearer to death and I still have yet to find a BF... *Wails*

Hopeless... (Imported From Xanga)

I'm beginning to feel like I'm totally hopeless... Not in the context tt I can't be saved from some imminient disaster or something... Rather, I'm beyond saving... Before any of you start getting the wrong idea, I'm not on drugs... Neither have I commited any crime... My morale doesn't allow me to anyway... =P

On the surface, I'm hopeless as I love to procrastinate... I guess most humans do tt and it's a bad habit tt's not easy to kick... My plan to upload all my pics to [Photobucket.com] and to create a backup online has been put on hold... Again... Wonder when I'll actually find the resolve to commit myself in finishing tt pending job of mine...

Of course, when I'm working, I try my best not to procrastinate... I'm also trying very hard to follow the rules and not deviate... Yet my collegues are constantly taking short-cuts, rendering me fustrated sometimes when I'm trying to produce a good piece of work... The 'heck care' attitude is getting on my nerves... I mean, everything will run smoothly if you follow the guidelines given... It's there for a reason... Why bother to take the shorter route and if you're discovered, you'll get reprimanded???

Of course, the it's IF you're discovered... However, my mindset is different... I'd rather do it right the 1st time and be done with it... And not risk tt probability, however small, and end up redoing the job again... I seriously fail to understand those collegues of mine...

Talking abt collegues, this is where the severe problem of my 'hopelessness' lies... Most of the guys there are older than me and some of them - 2 to be exact - aren't tt bad looking either... If you're still clueless abt what I'm saying... To put it in English, I'm starting to develop a certain crush on someone... Gee... To me, those boyish looks are a little hard to resist... So much for trying to distract myself from all this... *sheepish grin*

*Sigh*... I miss those days when I'm hiding in a room full of books and being alone... With my books to keep my minds off such things... And the gang as well... And [deClique]... But now tt I'm given a higher appointment and I'm relocated to another department with more ppl, more work, more interaction will take place and my much needed distraction is no longer there... I'm seriously hopeless...

A man managed to flagged a taxi and gave the directions to the taxi driver... Half-way through the ride, the man decided to change his destinations... He tapped the taxi-driver lightly and the taxi-driver yelped in surprised, causing the taxi to veer off the road nad hit a tree before coming to a stop...

'I'm sorry... I didn't know tt I'll startle you by tapping you on the shoulder,' the man said, to which the taxi-driver replied:

'It's okay... It's my 1st day @ work as a taxi-driver... Before this, I'm driving funeral vans...'

Steamboat... (Imported From Xanga)

1 wk ago, we had our steamboat... Some can't make it due to some personal commitments... Yet despite the lack of full strength, we still had a ball of a time eating and chatting and having innocent fun... I went on a photo snapping rampage and viola! Here are the photos of tt memorable day...

I was ungodly early, arriving @ [Marina Bay] like a whopping hr earlier than the meeting time... Actually, I was already there when they're just meeting up... Anyway, when they finally arrived and as we're on the way to find a nice steamboat...

The feast began and I'm 1st to be done eating... I'm really not much of an eater when it comes to steamboat... Really...

When everyone's done with their feast, this is the end result of our table... Quite a remarkable mess, don't you think so??? LOL...

Of course, we stayed behind for a while to gossip for a while and the subject this time round, is the other male present in this hugh party of ours...

Some grroup photos and fooling around before we call it a day...

As we rode on [Bec]'s parent's truck, memories of similar fun outings course through each of our minds and I'm really glad tt I've made such good friends with them... The future is shrouded in mystery... Whether we'll still be in touch in x yrs from now can't be determined... LOL... Now tt's what thrilling isn't it??? To anticipate the future...

Of course, apart from tt, we're also discussing on certain relationship issues... I kinda envy ppl who're being wooed... Tt's blessing to them... I would very like to experience it myself as well... And this is called dreaming...
