Summary: Set in the Shinigami technical school for weapon meisters, the series revolves around 3 groups of each a weapon meister and a human weapon... Trying to make the latter a "Death Scythe" and thus fit for use by the Shinigami, they must collect the souls of 99 evil humans and 1 witch...

I would say tt the genre is similar to tt of [Shaman King]... Action is predominant in the show, with comedy here and there... Of the 3 couples (weapon meister followed by human weapon) - [Maka] and [Soul], [Black Star] and [Tsubaki], [Death The Kid] and [Liz] and [Patty] - [Maka] and her weapon is by far the most normal... [Black Star] is so much of an attention seeker tt he fails as an assassin while [Death The Kid] is a complete perfectionist, constantly harbouring on symmetry till it becomes a liability to him... Overall, with 51 episodes, I guess it should be alright in keeping me entertained for quite awhile... LOL...

It's been tested and proven tt with [Restaurant City], [Final Fantasy VII] and [Audition] keeping me occupied, my need for human company isn't even there @ all... Haha... Okay, so it's been only like 1 wk tt I've last seen my friends, but I have the distinct feeling tt it's been eons... Okay, I guess I've no choice but to admit tt living a solitary life have totally disrupted my sense of time... Can you believe tt I actually thought tt [XP] gave a call to me 2 days ago when it's actually more than tt??? I couldn't actually remember tt so much time has flew pass since her call... Neither could I accept tt I've had nire than 25 days of holidays already...

It's like [Stop] has been cast on me and my awareness of time is totally lost...

Anyway, I was thrilled to be able to meet up with [YH] on [Thurs] for lunch @ [Mad Jack]'s as well as satisfy my ice-cream fix @ you-know-where la... Haha... It has been a gruesome wait for tt [Thurs] to come... I mean, when you've been craving for something, the wait is painful and time feels distorted... It feels like the hours take forever to end and there's only so much I can do to occupy and distract myself...

My meal @ [Mad Jack] was a little disappointing for I ordered the chicken bologanese and it's really sour... Ugh... I still managed to finish it though and let's just take it as a good experience and something which I'll never order again... Luckily, the sourness isn't due to something gone bad or else I'll be totally K.O-ed... Zzz... -_-"'

LOL... Tt's abt it for the meal... What's more interesting was the fact tt I've gone over to the dark side... And was actually cam-whoring before I head out of the house to meet up with [YH]... Gosh!!!

One More Impromtu Decision...

Title: Knowing

Again, I went to catch the movie by myself as it's a spontaneous decision on my own, I don't think it's really nice to trouble and bug someone to watch it with me, thus disrupting their plans if they ever agree to it...

So, $8 poorer and 122 mins older, I exited the theater less than excited... I was please with the movie, until the last 30 mins or so as it's around tt time tt the movie revealed tt those men in black top and slacks are actually aliens and they've selected only a few humans to be transported to another planet tt supports life while [Earth] gets roasted by some massive heat ray tt bursts from the sun, killing everyone still on it...

If the twist was tt there wasn't a hero and everyone died, I'm still okay with tt... Add aliens to the mixture and 'snap!', instant turn-off for me... So the insane whispering are due to aliens and the future prediction of doomsday's caused by aliens as well... Now, who gave them the ability and right to determine tt [Earth] gets roasted even 50 yrs ago??? Gosh!!!

Yeah, so I agree with [John]'s initial theory... Whatever happens in the whole universe is simply just random coincidence... Not some predefined event tt was determined by some omniscient dude...

The other issue tt caused my movie experience to be less than pleasant was tt sometime towards last quarter of the movie, an idiot's cell rang and rather than ignore the call or answer it with a curt, 'I'm in a movie, call you back', he has to continue ranting abt where to meet despite telling the other person on the line tt he's in the movie and will call back later... Really, tt dodo's so inconsiderate by not whispering as well... The person on the other line is a complete brainless twit as well for not getting the hint... If it's me, I'll bloody ignore the call!!! Inconsiderate idiots... *Growls* =@

Anyway, after the movie's over, I had dinner then desserts before heading back home... Desserts was from a shop down B1, the one just directly in front of [Dian Xiao Er] (I think)...

The [Mango Snow Ice] which I ordered... It has to do for now for the postponed trip to [Island Creamery]...

A Trip To Tempines 1...

Ohmygosh!!! It's my 1st tt I'm off with the gals to actually do some hard-core window shopping... I totally spent the whole afternoon walking around and checking out the stuff @ the new mall tt was opened a couple of days ago @ [Tempines] and it's like, totally awesome!!! *Squeals*

I met up with [XP] and [MJ] @ [JE] stn before we took the train down... We could've taken bus 67, but tt's total stupidity as the trip will be freaking long and torturous on the butt and long legs of mine... So the train's still a better option... As it's the start of the journey, we didn't think much and stood for the whole train ride, all the while chatting a little abt anime, [RC] and whatever random topics tt we can think of @ the spur of the moment... Haha... I simply can't keep my mouth shut...

Took a few pics while heading to there... LOL... Finally managedt o drag [XP] into the pic with me...

[MJ] was attempting to look intellectual and @ a great cost indeed!!! Wearing [XP]'s specs for tt mere secs is talking a toll on her eyes... After all, it's 800+ degrees... *Gasp* x_x

We arrived @ [Tempines 1] @ abt noon and was searching for some cheap meal... To our dismay, they only have restaurants after restaurants with price tags above the gals' budget of < $15 in total... I guess this makes sense in a way as there're 3 malls and it's not fesible to have so many [Macs] within 100 m of one another... So after taking a look @ [BBQ Chicken], [Secret Recipe], [F.I.S.H], we decided to head over to the other mall and hunt for [Pizza Hut] as the lunch offer is currently in progress... We managed to get those comfy round seats and really, I feel tt it's only good for @ most 3 ppl instead of the designated 5 ppl it can contain... After all, the table's small and fitting anything more than 4 ppl's worth of food is gonna clutter up the table and things are bound to get spilled or dropped... [MJ] attempted to order a student meal too, but it failed miserably for she couldn't produce a student pass... So she ended up with a normal set lunch like moi while our dear [XP] got to enjoy her student meal tt comes with a free flow of soft drink... Not tt she really captialise on tt though... -_-"'

While waiting for our food, my fingers got itchy again...



And as my pizza was the last to arrive (I think they forgot my order, zzz...), my fingers was still itchy and it's a good thing for I managed to snap a pic of the cheese thief!!!

Observe... The cap of the cheese bottle has been removed in her attempt to dump cheese onto her baked rice... LOL... Instead of eating baked rice, I would suggest tt she consume baked cheese in the future... Haha... =P

Within mins, it's bottle's empty of cheese... And we have to ask the waiter for another bottle and tt too had the same fate as this bottle by the end of our meal... Not tt we're feeling the least bit guilty of consuming so much cheese... Like what [XP] said, we did pay for service charges, you know...

Once we're done with the meal, we decided to rush over to [Uniqlo] which is located on the second lv. of the mall...

We were kinda shocked @ the sight tt greeted us... No, there wasn't a stempede nor was there a huge crowd... There was a queue and you have to queue to get into the shop... Quite shocking, really...

While waiting to be let into the shop...

Despite much hype over the store's opening, I can now finally grasp why I've heard comments tt it's not tt great a deal after all... The price tags of the clothes are quite similar to those of [TopShop] and I guess it's just not really to my taste... The designs are quite simple though there's a myrid of colours for you to select, something which is not what I'm looking for... For me, I'm more along the lines of design, design, design... Think [V.I.P] and I guess you'll have a rough idea le... LOL...



We then did a slow walk around the mall... We entered [Messy] and I saw skinny ties and scarves... I really wanted to buy the later, but I'm still having internal debates whether I shall part with my money and get a nice one... Thus in the meantime, I was deciding whether I should get a skinny tie 1st... After all, I should attempt to accessorise what...

Looks like [XP] is a little drained from all the walking already... LOL...

Price tag in mind we did more walking and we came across a store with a huge tadpole as it's sign... Interesting...

Headed over to [Times] to check out what nice reads are in store for us to borrow or rent before we chance upon a book on bunny suicide... In it, they have pics after pics on how a certain bunny tried to kill itself... It's a work of some depraved, sicked mind and the ideas are totally OMG...

We chanced upone bunny ears and the end results are...



Before it got a little too late, we stopped by [Messy] again and I made up my mind to purchase the tie for $16... A black skinny tie which I think should go well with almost everything tt I have in my wardrobe... Haha...

Consumed a pretzel from [Aunt Anne's] as dinner before we took the train to [Pasir Ris] then back to [JE]... LOL... After tt fun window shopping for the entire afternoon, we really need seats for the 1 hr ride...

Babbling Just For The Sake Of It...

Title: Jigoku Shoujo Mitsuganae

Plot Summary: After Ai Enma's supposed death after the events of the 2nd season, her three helpers, Ichimoku Ren, Wanyuudou and Hone-Onna live out their lives in relative peace... This is suddenly shattered when Kikuri returns to recruit them... Meanwhile, Ai mysteriously reappears from the dead and uses the body of a young schoolgirl, Yuzuki Mikage, to continue the Jigoku Tsūshin operation... Yuzuki is aware of Ai's presence however, when she can see what Ai sees...

After watching the 1st 6 episodes, I find tt this time, the revenge issues are indeed quite trival... And the ppl aren't tt much happy after they've sent their victims to hell, much unlike the previous 2 seasons where some of the ppl really deserved to be sent to hell for their depravity... Perhaps there's much more to it like in the 1st 2 seasons and I'll just have to watch to unravel the storyline...

Of course, I think I just spoil it for myself for I've just Wiki-ed the anime and read all the spoilers... Zzz... -_-"'

Perhaps the time hasn't come to really talk abt certain things... Am I really tempting fate here or perhaps it's simply a matter of, if you don't try, you'll never know... It seems like instead of having an open mind and being optimistic, I'm also @ fault of always thinking of the worse-case scenerio...

If you keep thinking abt failure, won't you just get tt as an end result???

Last random thought of the post... Ever since [SL] mentioned tt he'll be doing the [Union Camp], I'm wondering if I should be adventurous and try tt as well too... After all, you don't get to be an outgoing dude by staying @ home monitoring [Restaurant City]... I wonder if I can do tt camp but not stay overnight...

I'm gonna give some thought abt tt... When next wk starts... LOL... For now, I wanna watch my anime...

Sore Legs And Sunshine...

I was determined not to be late for the meet up with [MJ], [YH] and [SL] and managed to pry myself from the computer in time to head out for my brunch... Computer addiction - 0, Social life - 1!!!

I arrived @ [CCK] wayyy too early and decided to do some stoning and ppl watch instead of entering the stn and risk staying inside for too long and getting fined a couple of dollars... It's there tt I saw a bunch of young adults entering the stn and exiting, apparently, it's to do some test on or something... The only explanation tt I can come up on why they're doing tt is for a project... It's really beyond my imagination tt this is a temp job and anyone would take such joy in doing something so mundane and repetitive... Bet the pay isn't even tt fantastic if it's indeed a temp job...

Nevertheless, I was intrigued by the display of clockwork actions... Strange indeed...

Despite me telling [M] tt I wasn't meeting her, I ended up waiting @ [CCK] till she turned up and both of us made our way to [JE] stn and surprisingly, [YH] was already there... Yeah, after tt few times of her being late, I'm not very optimistic on her early arrival...

We then boarded the train and merrily made our way to [Bedok] stn all the while crapping and discussing [MJ]'s interview question... It's an estimation question and she was asked how many LTs are there in the 3 local universities combined??? Now, as we're being who aren't even in uni, we've got to approach this in a logical manner and it's interesting to reason out the various arguments and collectively arrive @ a conclusion...

Of course, this is still manageable... If the question was how many 1 litre bottles does it take to empty the whole of [Mandai Lake], I'll be completely clueless and @ a loss of a reasonable answer... Not tt my estimation has ever been close...

Arrived @ [Bedok] stn and spent a couple of mins waiting for [SL] before we made our way through the interchange towards the queue for bus no. 196... We waited for somewhat close to 30 mins before the bus came and it's a miracle tt we even managed to stop @ the correct stop as none of us was tt familiar with the area...

It's only then tt I realised tt a faster trip towards [ECP] was to head over to [Bt. Panjang] and take bus 966 which will dump us @ [Parkway Parade]... It's a faster bus ride for most of the trip, it's non-stop through the expressway and following tt, it's just a few mins walk before we arrive @ our final destination... Ah well, lesson learnt...

All of us rented the $6 bike and with 3 hrs to spare, we started with our 40 km cycle... Towards [Changi Beach Park] and back...

As [SL] went in search for a toilet, I decided to let my fingers was trigger-happy...




After tt, it was a leisurely 10 km cycle towards our destination and thank goodness the sun wasn't tt strong or bright to incinerate my to ashes... Though I think I was a little burnt as my arms are feeling a little painful, as if I've been torched by UV beams...

Did lots of chatting with [SL] while the other 2 simply listened to theie MP3 players instead of listening to nature's way of noise pollution... Neither was there any disintegration of bikes this time round... Phew!!!

After close to 100 mins, we finally arrived @ the entrance of [Changi Beach Park] and here's the prove!!!

Despite the aching legs and painful butts, it's a good accomplishment!!!

As [YH] and [SL] went for their toilet breaks, the tall and skinny decided to do some rock climbing...



I didn't dare stand on the taller rock and neither did [MJ] cause we're slightly afraid of heights... LOL... A little ironic, huh...



The sleeping dude was there when we arrived and he's still there when we're abt to start our return trip to [ECP]... Seriously, his lying there totally screams 'Run me over!!! Mow me down!!! Flatten me with your speeding bike!!!'... Sheesh!!! @ least find somewhere else to sleep... Somewhere where no one can find you... Such an unsightly sight... -_-"'

By the time all of us return our bike, I'm totally drained with my legs totally sore from the long ride... *Sigh* I guess this is the evidence of my lack of exercise as well as me getting on with my age... Not tt I'm gonna admit it anytime soon... I've no intention of celebrating my b-day this yr and I'm denying my b-day... In fact, from this yr onwards, I shall have no b-day and shall henceforth be forever 20!!! Granted, I'm in absolute denial, but hey, if I'm happy, it's all tt matter, right??? LOL...

A Day In the Life Of A Kid Who Hasn't Had A Holiday In A Long Time...

Headed down to town with [MJ] to meet up with [YH] for some chit-chat as well as lunch in [Suki]... Once again, I was reminded of my seniority as the waiteress asked for the students among the trio... My failure to produce the famed student card tt allows for food discounts islandwide is hurting... Esp so when you're in transition from limbo to undergrad... Again, I'm now an adult before going back to my comfy status of student...

[MJ] and [YH] then attacked the food the moment they're told to do so while I simply took a little here and there to slowly fill my stomach... For once, I think I did eat a little more as I've skipped breakfast, not tt I intended to anyway... I actually wanted to simply down a cup of milo before the meal... Apparently, I was too caught up in [Restaurant City] to even function properly and had almost lost track of the time...

Thank you, [MJ], for sending my into another abyss when I've recently crawled out from another named [Pet Society]...

We did gossiped a little and sine news just aren't tt surprising afterall once you've been there, done tt... I mean, the 1st time, it'll sting like hell, but after you've gotten over it, there's only the initial envy and tt's abt it... The bottom line is, we're all leading different lives and have different fates... I just simply have to work on my patience a little more and I'll see the rewards soon...

Heck, if vamps can wait for 500 to 2,000 yrs for their lifemate, what's waiting for a mere 5 or 20 more yrs in addtion to what I've already gone through??? It's all a matter of perspective, I would say...

In the end, the three of us spent a total of $74.10 for the meal and again, I paid the most to cover up for the GST and service charge... Thus, if I were to really calculate, I would have spent $65.10 in a mere 2 days of going out... If this were to continue, I believe my future is indeed gonna be filled with monetart woes... *Sigh*

Perhaps it's time to do some self-reflection and be more careful on what I take my wallet out for... Of course, abstinence is by far the most effective way to solve the problem and I should simply just not head out of the house and be attacked by the deadly UV-rays... LOL... I've long associated sunlight with spending cash, which is true to a certain extend...

And speaking of $$$, it seems to lead to another issue: Trust... Consider this... When you're working and doing a proper job, you'll have to contribut a portion of your pay to your CPF and so does the employer... This is a system tt has been in place for quite some time already, so it's totally beyond me to question the payslip tt states who contribute what to my CPF and actaully do a check... So the webby states tt there's no contribution a couple of wks back, but the webby isn't run on real-time so it's just not being updated yet and I don't think it warrants a check...

Therefore, it totally leaves me puzzled when [Dad] wants to know the contribution figures so tt he can do whatever checks he wants and I didn't have the figures cause I've destroyed the payslip (it's afterall FYI only) and he simply hanged up the phone... Rude (another gene I'm happy to rid myself off)...

Anyway, my stand is, if such a system has been in place for so long, shouldn't we have a little faith and trust tt there won't be any errors??? If you think abt it, what are the chances of there being a problem for everyone who contributes to their CPF for the 1st time??? This is a Poisson distribution question, which means tt it's totally random and the probability is damn small... Besides, even if there's a prob this one time, I wouldn't mind overlooking it cause the figures are small and I won't be contributing to my CPF anytime soon for the next 3 yrs or so...

Heck, if I'm not so god-damn old, none of this prob will fall on me... Ugh...

And if there's so much lack of faith and trust, how can I ever bring myself to actually have more trust when I so desperately need it??? To me, trust is universal... If you can't trust something as innocent as your contribution to your CPF, how can I trust someone with my heart???

It's amazing how much I can think abt in tt time span of 3 hrs of lunch-ing as well as eating so much cream-puff... I believe the overuse of my brain in addition to the huge amt of cream which I've ingested made me not think straight... To think I actually allowed [MJ] to catch me on video when I'm playing [Para Para]!!! Oh man, I think my image has just went from 0 to the -ve region...

@ least I had fun... LOL...

Besides, compared to the number of unglam shots of [Cass] and her numberous vids, 1 of mine isn't tt bad after all... Haha... See??? It's all a matter of perspective...
