Took half day from work to meet up with [SM] for [Jumper] yesterday... I don't know abt him, but I was epxecting more considering it's from the director tt produces [Mr & Mrs Smith]... The later has good action, comedy and nice eye candy in the form of [Brad Pit]... [Jumper] though, has some action, subtle comedy and a barely there ending... The main character was nice to look @, but tt's beside the point... The point I'm trying to make is, it fell below my expectations... *Sigh* I wonder if there'll be any good movie tt's actually worth those expensive ticket price tt we're paying...

Haha... It's definitely not related but if you think abt it... Movies used to be worth the ticket price in the past... Yet when inflation slowly sets in, it's as though there's an inverse relationship b/w the price of movie tickets and the quality of the movie... Coincidence or a real fact??? You decide... LOL...

Do hope tt [L: Change The World] will @ least be decent... *Cross fingers*

Met up with [Bec] & [XP] @ [BP Interchange] before taking bus no. 700 to [SunTec]... It's only when the bus turned into [Shenton Way] and pass [The Esplanade] tt we realised tt the bus isn't going to [SunTec]... Seems like a change in the position of the bus lane @ the interchange equates to a change in bus routes as well... Or maybe we took 700A instead... -_-"'

We alighted the moment we realised my horrible mistake and decided to cross the road to take another bus back to [SunTec], like what the driver advised... However, when we cross the road, we realised tt there's no freaking bus stop, simply a taxi stand!!! WTH!!! The driver decided to play us out!!!

So we milled abt the taxi stand to look @ the tiny map tt's on display... It's @ tt precise moment tt [XP] suddenly realised tt the road we crossed is a bloody 1 way road!!! *Laughed till severe stomach cramp sets in*

Managed to get a bus back to [SunTec] @ the end anyway to meet up with [JY] as well as to attend the talks tt [NTU]'s holding... The talks ain't much... I was mainly there to ask abt the admission matters as I'm a little clueless abt all those terms on 'Major', 'Minor', 'Electives'...

I did managed to clear my doubts before we headed to [My. Playground] for some shopping... I saw some really nice pants with complicated strings designs!!! I'm so gonna buy them the next time I'm @ [SunTec] again... Haha... Saw those cosplay and lolita shops which are darn interesting... [MJ] must come with us the next time so we can all indulge in the [Jap] sub-culture...

Headed to [Popcorn Pop] next to look @ some movie posters which are darn nice... I was so, so, so tempted to buy some... I didn't @ the end as it's a fact tt I don't have enough wall space to display those posters... Besides, I want to preserve them, not simply stick them on the wall w/o any protection whatsoever, which means tt I need frames... Which then means tt I have to go to [Ikea]... Lazy moi decided to stop thinking after this and not buy the poster... LOL...

Headed back to the talk just in time for the last [Biz/Accountancy] talk before bidding farewell to [Bec], leaving the 3 of us to walk to [Bugis Street] to window shop before parting with [JY], leaving both me and [XP] heading towards [West Mall] for [SubWay] dinner...

Overall experience for the day: Extensive travelling (read: money being injected back to the country's economy), lots of good, clean fun and tons of bimbotic moments... It's a pity tt I didn't catch the opportunity to ask more abt the [PS3] which I so badly wanted to buy... The consolation however, was the sight of the wireless controller in use... It's so cool!!! Gyyaaa~!!!

Visits, Visits, Visits!!! (Imported From Xanga)

They came to my house 1st... You can't miss their arrival... I swear their voices were audible even when they're @ the 1st floor... Really, I could hear their voices for 1 complete min before they actually materialise in front of my door... LOL... It's nice seeing them again though... ^_^

[MJ] and [Yuling] helped my sis and I through our license @ [Audition] and I couldn't help it... But [MJ] is really superb!!! I mean, the girl can get a total of 8 consecutive perfects in the midst of all the chaos happening around her... The eyes tt are watching as she played as well as [SH] playing [Spice Girls] music on my CD player should've made it nigh on impossible to concentrate... Yet [MJ] did it... She managed to pass my sis's license with scores tt are jaw-dropping...

[SH] is right... [MOE] should come out with a subject called [Audi]...

Decided to entertain [The Gang] with [The Reaping] and it is only then tt I found out of their ability to treat a horror movie like a comedy... Can you believe it??? They said [Ju-On] is funny as the characters in the movie should've just kicked the ghost when they saw her crawling down the stairs... *Stunned*

Headed to [SH] house next for lunch, not tt I needed to eat or anything... As long as there's a [PS2], cards or mahjong present, I'm very much capable of converting playing to food... Now tt's my special ability...

[YL] left shortly after tt as she needs to study... All the best to your exams!!! And so did [XP] as she has family commitments...

We headed to [Bec]'s house next and it's there tt we did some [Blackjack] while half-watching [Snakes On The Pllane]... I'm more concerned with my cards... You have no idea what I'm capable of when I'm distracted... Who knows??? I might just miscalculated my cards and draw out another card... Okay, tt's dumb... But hey, anything could happen when I'm distracted...

Oh, and I binged on the dried mangos tt were offered... Darn it... I've sinned again!!!

It's nice of [Bec]'s parents to give us a lift to [YH]'s house where we met up with [XP] and [SH] (he decided to skipped [Bec]'s to get his CD @ [Parkway Parade])... It's there tt we had out steamboat dinner before I decided to indulge in some mahjong action along with [Bec], [Dar] and [HY]... It's nice playing mahjong after so long and even though I didn't exactly win any money nor did I lose much, I had fun... Hell... If no cash was involved, I would've had as much fun as well... To me, the playing is all tt matters and my profit...

Obviously, this does not mean tt I'm willing to let others win like mad... I'm no [God Of Fortune]...

I manage to touch a [PSP] for the 1st time and it's a nice portable gaming console... The only drawback tt's causing me not to buy it is the fact tt it can only support [PSX] games and not [PS2]... A real bummer when I'm dying to play [FFX] and [FFX-2]... Oh well... I'll continue to wait for the time when I can get my hands on a [PS3] with those awesome wireless controllers...

I didn't expect the walls tt I've erected to protect myself from the likes of [Jeffrey] and company to have holes... For this, I only have myself to blame as I've been hiding in my own cubby hole since [J1], so it's really obvious tt the walls need maintainence...

Apparently, I was in the same team as Collegue A for a project... I knew I was in a team but I didn't contribute a single effort for the project... So when Collegue A gave me a cert for it, I didn't brag or anything... I simply accepted the cert and continued working... It's only @ a later time of the day tt Collegue B told me what Collegue A complained abt to his other collegues, tt Collegue B and I didn't do anything yet we still get the same 'payouts' as the rest...

I admit tt I didn't contribute... But then again, how can I be expected to do something when no one told me to do anything??? Nor told me what the project was going to be abt??? To blatantly accuse me of free-loading and not speak the whole truth reminds me of how I was tormented by [Jeffrey] and company's half-truth...

Huh... To think tt after 5 yrs, history repeats itself... I was once again betrayed by someone whom I treat as a friend... How can I be so stupid as to actually be so trusting and not learn from my past mistakes???

It's thanks to guys like them tt made me wary of befriending guys... I do not want to be judged again... Neither do I want to be betrayed by those homophobes... Sheesh!!! What's wrong with having an alternate lifestyle?! In case you haven't notice, being gay does not mean tt I will like any and every guy tt I see... Even if I were to like a certain guy, only idiots would openly display their affection to said guy...

It's day 2 of the [Lunar New Year] and for my family, it's a free and easy day as we usually complete the house visiting practice on the 1st day... Which translates to less red packets...

I'm not particularly concerned with getting red packets thingy... What I'm more concerned is the fact tt I don't really know my relatives @ all... I've absolutely zero idea on how they're all related to me and believe it or not, it's only just yesterday tt I found out tt I've nephews who are simply 2 yrs younger than me... Imagine tt, come the next [Lunar New Year] in 10 yrs time, ppl will be calling me 'Uncle Shawn'... Ugh... Okay, so maybe 10 yrs later the name suits me, but thinking abt it now... Goodness!!! I feel wrinkles forming already...

Watched [Ah Long Pte Ltd] and I do think tt the movie deserves more than the 1/5 stars given by the papers... It's really hilarious and I do find one of [Fann Wong]'s sidekick in the movie rather pleasing to the eye... Hmmm... Like what [SH] says, it's all a matter of perspectives...

Shit, I can't stop thinking abt him... Have I fallen into yet another black-hole???

Not going to talk much abt past events... Have the feeling tt if I were to continously narrate the past, I'm going to have this boring thought when I read it in the future... I think tt's the whole point of blogs for my purpose... To log down events worth remembering...

[Monday]... Went to [Settlers'] @ [Clarke Quay] with my collegues as our unit's cohesion... Turns out tt I had a great time despite my initial thought tt it's going to be boring cause I'm not with [DeClique] or [The Gang]... Hmmm... This is proof tt I'm easily satisfied... Just give me games to keep me occupied for as long as you want...

Though I have to admit tt when I'm high on gaming, I tend to get a little carried away and not care abt anything else... Erps... Sounds so like I'm a drug addict or something... -_-"'

I used to think tt I'm not ready to be in a relationship... But how does one know when one's ready??? Friends keep telling me tt I would know when the time is right... Yet do I really know when it's ripe??? Mr. Emotions might be desparate to get some love, attention, and security and therefore scream tt the time to get hitched is now... Mr. Brain on the other hand, is scoffing @ the thought, retorting tt the time is not ripe yet as I don't have the time for a relationship admist my busy schedule of gaming, meeting friends and working...

The other factors tt're making me hestitate is tt this is after all, going to be my first time getting involve romatically with another person... I'm totally inexperience, so I'm totally clueless on how to react to certain situations... Then there's the issue of my 'potential date'... He's older and has dated more than once before... Plus his actions speak alot of what he expects from his relationships, which is totally of another universe from what I'm expecting...

Heck, despite my apprehension (I'm always getting all jittery whenever I think abt him), I think I'll just go ahead with my unreliable instincts and see where this path leads me... I just have to remember not to get too deep in the relationship... And learn how to manage my time better...

Before I met up with [XP] and [Dar], I was window shopping @ [West Mall] and I managed to rent the last book in the [Reily Jenson Guardian Series] - [Embraced By Darkness]... It's such a pity tt the series' over in 5 books... Anything, be it good or bad, will come to an end eventually, and everytime this happens, I feel a sense of emptiness, as a void has been created and I need it to be filled before I can feel complete again... Perhaps this is life...???

A new series is in the making and trust me to read it as well...

Saw [V.I.P], a shop selling mens' clothes... I like the selection of tops, shorts and cargo pants available... Moreover, the price of all those ranges b/w $29.90 to $39.90... Re-visiting is a must with my mum... Or maybe not... I have a feeling tt despite her objections, I will insist on buying them anyway... Haha...

I met up with them and we headed to [XP]'s house... To find tt her TV's spoilt in such a way tt it gives off weird noises with muffled sounds... Worse, we even thought tt her multi-tab malfunctioned as it couldn't dectect the 3rd player... Therefore, we decided to teleport over to [Dar]'s house so tt we can enjoy the games on his working TV tt doesn't gives off unrelated noises in his good lighting, air-conditioned room...

Only to discover tt the multi-tab in his possession faces the same problem... -_-"'

So we ended up taking turns to play [Bish Bashe]... Damn [Dar] to be capable of hearing beats, as both [XP] and I were in a disadvantage whenever we play the stage tt's similar to [Audi]'s [1,2 Party]... Damnation...

I tried [FFX-2] for a while and it's really challenging... In a sense, it's almost similar to [FFVII] as just like you need to train your materia to learn better skills, you have to train your dress spheres to gain more abilities... There's also accessories to be equipped to either boost your states and/or protect against negative status... The only diff here is tt you can equip 2 accessories and you can change your dress spheres to be various characters...

Hmmm... Sounds like I'm starting to get hooked on [FFX-2]... Which is gonna be bad cause I don't have a PS2 to play tt game... *Sigh* I don't have a choice but to satisfy my need by playing [FFVII]... Though I need to stop thinking in [FFVIII] for it's junctiong system and absense of MP...

Gah~... I'll stop here as I'm beginning to start thinking of men again... I need to indulge in games to distract myself... Off to [Audition] world... Sayonara~... *Winks* ;)
